Great price for a great seat!

Our twin boys got real big, real fast! So by 8 months, they'd out grown their infant seats. Time to shop again! As a mom of twins, just being thrifty is still too expensive for me! So, the goal - a convertible seat (so we'd only have to buy two more carseats) that could be rear facing and a belt adjusting booster that would work for as big of a child as possible all for under $85. Enter - Safety 1st. I read some reviews about how it was difficult to install/operate. Unfortunately, I think those folks have expectations that these things operate themselves. I can get the boys in and out and into their stroller within 5 minutes. These aren't really any different than buckling the boys into their Evenflo infant seats, and actually its a little easier. Admitedly, adjusting the straps takes some patience at first (they loosen from the shoulder instead of the hip like the infant seats did), but once you get the hang of it, all is well. Installing them rear facing was a breeze, and thank heavens for the LATCH system! Everything wipes up pretty well, too. The boys love being in the car - they can see out of the window, and the seat is open enough that they don't get too hot. They're comfortable, sleep every time we put them in the car for any length of time, and overall, this was the best buy for my already stretched dollar I could have asked for. I would reccommend this seat to anyone - paying more is just silly when they all have to meet the same safety standards!
Pros:Ability to hold bigger kids for a longer period of time once we convert to boosters.
Looks great - Unisex - I'd have no problems putting girls in this seat.
Cup holder, head pillow, strap covers - it's comfortable
Cons:The strap adjustment took a little getting used to, but once we got it, it's been fine ever since.
