This is an excellent car seat. We purchased one for our daughter and now just purchased another one for our son. Our daughter is now 5 years old and our son is 15 months old, and it is such a versatile seat that it works well for both of them. The quality and durability of the seat is impressive. We also love the flexibility of the seat - depending on where we are going, our daughter can either be in the 5 point harness or she can simply use the vehicle's seat belt with the seat. Our daughter also tells us how comfortable it is. This is a high quality, well-made, safe car seat. We would definitely purchase it again - and have! :)

We bought this seat when our youngest needed the convertible carseat our oldest had been in. We LOVE the Recaro brand and all the safety features they offer. We've had no problem with this seat. It's heavy, but I'd rather that than a flimsy booster that moves each time my kid moves. We've been able to use it both with the 5-point harness as well as the seat belt and have felt he's been protected both ways. His head doesn't slump when he's asleep. We're in the market for another one very soon for our youngest!

Recaro really got it right with this seat! Our 2 year old has been in this seat for a year, and he seems very happy in it. We have a Como as well, and while that's a perfectly good seat, this one has some great improvements. The "head wings" are great when he falls asleep. The buckle is easier to operate. Food and drink spills usually wipe off easily if you get to them quickly. The seat disassembles much more easily, and you can remove all the cushioning down to plastic and styrofoam for cleaning (good feature if your kid gets carsick). The material is easier to clean as well, but you have to wash it by hand. The shoulder harnesses adjust with the headrest, so you don't have to take them out and reinstall them in different slots. The manual fits in a side pocket instead of the back of the seat, so you can get to it while the seat is installed. It's a big, heavy seat, which is probably a good thing for protection, but we use a smaller one when traveling on airplanes. We haven't tried the booster seat function yet, but so far we're very happy (and so is our kiddo!)
