Easy and Fun!

Okay, full disclosure, my son hasn't yet arrived - several weeks to go.
I was a bit worried, not knowing where the stroller was shipping from our how long ground shipping would take, for a big item like this. I received it in about a week, which was super fast and matched exactly with what was estimated for the delivery.
I couldn't find this stroller in ANY of the nearby stores here in Los Angeles, so I was a bit worried about blindly making the purchase. I had felt the materials of the Fox 2. After learning that the Fox 2 and Fox 3 were mechanically identical, I still opted for the Fox 3 after hearing that the materials had improved. To be honest, I liked the color options on the Fox 2 more than the 3, but the materials of the 3 really do feel a bit more premium. And if I feel like I can't live without the other colors, I can still order the hood/cover for the Fox 2 and it will be compatible.
Another reason for deciding on the Fox 3 was that the adaptors for the Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna were included. We'd have had to pay for those either way with the Fox 2, so definitely worth it.
Anyway, while I don't have a child to put in the stroller, doesn't mean I can't play with it right? Within a matter of seconds, I was able to pull out the chassis, pop on the back wheels, pop on the front, and then under-basket and the adaptors. The car seat pops on SO SMOOTHLY. Removing that and placing it on the car base and back again is incredibly easy. Moving the stroller along the floor - the thing just glides. I'm actually excited to use it to the point that I want my son to already be here. The white indicators not only look good, but help you understand what you need to press / pull in order to get the stroller to do what you want. I've been thoroughly confused before with other strollers, but this would just makes sense, long before I ever needed to look at a manual.
And I guess that's what I was paying for. I know it's not cheap. In fact, this and the car seat were my splurge items. I'm going to need them for a long time, and as the father, I'll likely be carrying, folding, and storing them, so the lightweight and ease of use are absolutely going to be worth it in the end. I'm definitely pleased with this purchase and I know it was the right call. But even better, I purchased the stroller first to maximize my reward points. Once it shipped, I then redeemed the points for store credit and used it as a giant discount for the car seat. And then the car seat will be giving me even MORE rewards. If you play it smartly, you could save a lot of money!
Pros
- Light weight, easy to maneuver, easy to fold, easy to set up, and let's be honest - it just looks awesome on the street. Comes with a very breathable bassinet.
Cons
- It's expensive. People will question your sanity. But if you don't want to live a life of struggling with less expensive strollers, it may just be worth it to you.
