The Chariot infant sling is great for a tiny baby but once baby can sit up pretty well, it is not necessary. It says 10 months on the packaging which is true, a 10 month old baby would fit in it, but I don't think there are many 10 month babies that really need this product unless maybe the parent was dragging the chariot over roots or doing something really extreme
