I like these locks once you get them installed the downfall is having to screw them into your cabinets I have other ones that are magnetic that are just sticky ones which are so much easier but these ones are made better than the other ones that I have and they were good once you get them installed

I use these small locks to stop the cabinets closed from my one year old. This is a great locking system as it holds VERY TIGHT. THANKS SAFETY 1st !

These are the best child protective locks I have ever used, hands down! My 3 year old gets into absolutely EVERYTHING he can these days, closets, cabinets, you name it! I have tried nearly everything possible to prevent this but until I found these locks, nothing has worked. These are SO easy to install and well worth the small price they cost! They effectively prevented him from being able to open my "off limits" cabinets far better than other baby saftey tools have and I love how easy it is to "lock" and "unlock" them as needed, all with just a turn of a "key"! I especially love the indicator as to whether or not the "lock" is actually LOCKED or not. The only wish I had was that there was a second key included, a back up in case your like me and tend to lose things or forget where you hid them!

My kids are always getting into my cupboards and closets the Safety First magnetic locks are a lifesaver. Easy installation easy to unlock and keeps things in there place away from my kids.

This had been super beneficial in keeping my toddler out of the cabinets in both the kitchen and bathroom.

At first, I was really excited at the idea of a new type of safety lock (at least a new one to me - I had never heard of magnetic ones before). I have a six year old, and a three year old with special needs. I thought that these would be good for my younger son. As he is older, he is able to climb out/open many safety locks and gates, but we still have safety concerns, and don't want him to have access to places in our home where he could get into anything dangerous (cleaning product storage), or make a bigger mess than toddlers already do (diaper changing area).

What I like about this is that the key is removable, so it's not a type of latch or knob that our three year old has figured out how to open. I really thought that was a great idea. It would be something that he would not be able to get into.

What I didn't like about this product, is also that the key is removable. I had to make sure I didn't lose it... or that any of my other children would see it, and move it around the house. I did notice that there is a hole in the key, so you could attach it to a key ring, or something like that. But I did not do that.

The other thing that I didn't think of was that you would need to use a drill to hold the locks in place. So if you are concerned about putting holes into furniture in your home, I would select a different type of lock.

So in the end, I would say that these are a clever lock that you may like with older/taller toddlers. However, you may not want holes in your furniture, or lose the key if your'e not organized/careful.

We liked these better than the latch system we had that would scratch up the cabinets if not latched properly. The only issue I could foresee is me accidentally losing the key.

I am a parent of 3 curious little kids. They are also tricky little kids who love to figure out baby proofing devices and drive me crazy in the process. I love this little device because everything is hidden away inside the cabinets, so the Littles can't actually get to it without the key. We've had great luck with this so far, now the problem is making sure I don't lose the key. 5 stats!!

The locks were super inventive and neat. Definitely kept my two year old out of the kitchen cabinets. The only downfall is that you have to screw the locks in. Wish there were locks where you didn't have to screw any holes into your cabinets or drawers. The magnetic lock works great!! Do not lose the magnetic key.

These are a necessary part of caring for and protecting your child from potentially harmful items in easy to get to places. These have never failed us and we have purchased several sets for friends and family with small children. Great for keeping nosey pets out of these areas too. Highly recommend!

These are great. 2yo doesn't see it and keeps him out of the cabinets.

I installed these locks on my kitchen cabinets to keep my busy and curious 2 year old out of them! They work great! An added benefit, they were easy to install! The only downside that I found was only having 1 key. This makes it difficult if it gets lost. However, I will be buying more for the bathrooms!

I have 1 year old twin granddaughters and this was perfect to keep them safe from cleaning supply under the sink.

I have used several types of locking devices to keep kids out. I have to say this is definitely on the top of my list! The thing I enjoyed the most about the safety 1st Magnetic locking system, was how great it locked and was easy to open with a key hanging close by. I have already recommended this to all my friends with little ones and purchased it for a friends baby shower.

I put these locks on my drawers in my kitchen and they are absolutely amazing. Super easy to use and work well. Much better than the traditional child locks I had on there before.

These are awesome because you screw them in to the cabinets. I had thenones that stick and let me tell you, a toddler knows how to pull them fast.. so being these are screwed in, that's not possible. Favorite looks by FAR!

I used all 8 locks on the cabinets and the drawers the that have items/products that I needed to keep my toddler out of for my peace of mind. These Safety Deluxe Magnetic Locking Systems locks with Key that I have ever come across. I no longer have to worry about my little toddler getting into cabinets or drawers that could possibly be of danger. I can only say this: "what a great concept for all parent who have little ones to keep them safe and give us parents peace of mind."

This baby proof lock is really useful and amazing! Super easy to install and leaves no marks or scuffs. It is practically invisible. The lock can open with anything magnetic as that is all the lock is. We've tried other Saftey First locks and currently have the lock that looks like zip ties are holding it together. Unfortunately with that one the doors can still open and can hurt baby if they were to stick their hand between the doors. With this one you can pull, pull and pull and the doors won't open at all which is really night when your children have sticky fingers and want to get into everything and anything.

Very easy to install and use. I'd recommend a second key just to have in case so if something goes wrong you are able to get I to your cabinets. They work great.

The product was easy to install. I did it myself. What I liked about the magnetic system is that it did not open- not even a little like some of the safety systems. Also I have a son w Down syndrome and this kept him from getting into a cabinet that he was not supposed to.
The only this is- remember where you put the key!!!

I want to like this product alot and once I got through the difficulty of installation I really enjoy it but installing it was just so difficult alot more difficult then what I would've wanted to deal with.
Once installed the locks themselves do work good the one thing I don't like is how it knky comes with one key and if that one key gets lost then you have no choice but to uninstall the locks to get them off.

I used this product in my kitchen where I hide my chemicals. I didn't have to worry about the kids looking in there without me noticing.

I had never heard of these magnetic locks. I have always used the latches but yet my toddler still manages to pull things out of the drawers! These magnetic ones have saved my sanity :) I no longer have to worry about what he is going to grab out of the cabinets if I'm out of sight at the moment. They're installed on our entertainment center doors. Although you can see the part if you're looking from the side (glass fronts), it's not too noticeable. Very sturdy and the magnet part is very strong so there's no yanking the door off. Very pleased with the product and may have to buy more if he continues to get into every cabinet!

I used these in the bathroom. The install was not near as easy as other child locks that I installed in the kitchen. The instructions and templates were good, but just overall these took three times longer to mount. They work well, but are more expensive and no better than the manual locks in the kitchen.
To me the biggest problem is if you lose the magnet key that comes with it? Opening the cabinet would be difficult.

Although installation isn't terribly difficult some may find the process requires focus.I like the system and feel it not only is beneficial for the safety of toddlers,and kids who have begun to explore their surroundings ,but I think they are ideal for those individuals dealing with a physical handicap like arthritic hands or individuals on the onset of memory loss such as dementia.It's imperative that medications,firearms,even some food not be easily accessible in the event the individual has an allergic reaction to a product,or let unattended overdose on a medication.
I would like an additional key added in the package in the event one key might get lost or misplaced or forgotten where it was placed.I speak from experience.

This product is amazing!! I would have never thought that I was going to find a product that is easy to unlock fast to put on, and secure my kitchen cabinets from my kids. This product is amazing because theirs no more pulling the door cabinets or having my kids figuring out the way to open the cabinets. With this product I am able to place the key somewhere where my kids are not able to reach and I able to easily open the cabinets.

The product was easy to install and lightweight. It kept a lock on what I needed, did what it's meant to do. The construction wasn't the best. One broke pretty easily but it still worked good.

I've tried a few other safety products for cabinets, but I love these! Some of the others I've used have broken easily or were easy for kids to open, but these work great for keeping toddlers and little kids out. I love that you need to key to be able to open it so kids can't figure out how to get in without it.

This product is awesome! With a very active toddler that loves to get into just about anything, this Magnetic Lock Set is perfect to keep him away from trouble. It's very easy to install and more importantly, it is secure! This product is a must for baby proofing your home. We've never heard of this lock set before and we've tried different products prior to even including one with a rubber band, but those weren't as secure, not to mention, they were a pain in the butt to always fix! I definitely would purchase more of this for other cabinets around our home, and I would most definitely recommend this to friends and families with babies!

It's a great idea but if you don't always have the key handy then it complicates things and maybe multiple keys available would be better. I love the concept behind it though and very easy installation.

This product works great to keep your children out of cabinets that could harm them. It was easy to install. It's located inside the cabinet. A magnetic key locks and unlocks it. You don't even notice there. I've used the sliding door locks in the past which have scratched and ruined my cabinets. This is a perfect gift for anyone who is a new parent

Recieved the Saftey1st Complete Magnetic Locking System from Viewpoints. Got them installed and surprisingly I was impressed with how well they work. Got two grandchildren and one on the way. One is 4 and the other is two. Both love to get in cabinets and search for stuff to get into. I feel safer now that I can keep them out of the cleaning supply cabinet and the glassware cabinet. These locks work well. Now I don't have to worry when my back is turned that the kids won't be getting into the unsafe cabinets. The only thing I would change is maybe add another key. I actually installed one in the bathroom so the kids stay out of the bathroom supply cabinet because of meds and cleaning supply's. Other than that I would recommend this product. Would make a great baby shower gift for expectant parents.

I love these Safety 1st Complete Magnetic Locks! I would like it better if it came with two keys because I'm always afraid I will loose the key but they work great and keep my toddler safe because now he cannot open the cabinets in the kitchen!

These are extremely lightweight and the best part is they leave no holes.

I use this for when my grandchildren come to visit. I have a lit of chemicals under my sink, And the like to get into the linen closet to get the first aid items. This has helped me alot. And now my daughter is wanting to purchase some fro her own house.
