Do not buy!!!

I never write reviews but felt compelled after installing this seat. We just needed an extra seat for in-laws car so didn’t want to spend a ton of money. Lesson learned. Watched the video on installation which actually recommends placing a rolled towel or blanket under the car seat to ensure proper placement. What?!? It’s extremely wobbly, very difficult to tighten the anchor straps and overall feels and appears very cheap and unsafe. Would not recommend.

Favorite seat of 5 we've had.
February 22, 2017
We bought this seat as my son was outgrowing his infant carrier around 16-18 months. I chose this seat based on reviews and dimensions; wanted something lightweight, long-lasting, fit 3 across when necessary. I was a little disappointed in the color as I though this would have more Blue in it. The stock photos now are more true to color, pretty much gray. But we didn't care about that. This seat is the easiest of all the seats we've ever owned or tried to install in any of our 4 vehicles and also my parents'4 vehicles (all different). It installs well rear and forward facing with latch and with seatbelts it is the easiest and quickest of all our carseat installs. Even rear facing in my 3rd row.
My son is now 3 and still very comfortable forward facing in this seat. At 40 inches tall he is still in the 3rd harness strap slots. Plenty of room to grow. We are buying another one for little sister who is about it outgrow her infant carrier seat.
We live out of town so every trip in the car is a minimum 30 minute drive one way. We also travel out of state a lot. The padding on the seat (not counting the extra pillows which we really never used) is very thick and cushy. My kids are always comfortable even after hours in this seat and never complain or have pressure marks.
Head slump is a slight issue when rear facing, but easily fixed by bumping the headrest up an extra notch or 2.
My forward facing son does slump when he falls asleep until he tilts his head up and back against the seat. But he sleeps just fine in it and never seems uncomfortable after he wakes up. Forward facing seats are supposed to sit upright and if you fall asleep sitting up, well, your big ole noggin is gonna slump that's just gravity for you.

We love this seat, for the price, features, engineering design, dimensions and weight, everything. I always recommend this seat when someone is looking for a quality seat that is lightweight and narrow but still comfortable and affordable. Well done.

I do not recommend this seat for rear facing.

I have tried multiple times to install this seat rear facing with the LATCH system strap. Epic fail every single time. I have only once gotten the seat installed correctly rear facing using the seat belt for the vehicle. Forward facing installs fine but rear is a nightmare.

Okay seat

This seat is NOT good for children smaller than about 9 months clothing. Before then the child's shoulders would be below the bottom harness slot, which is not safe for rear facing. Every child should be rea faced for a minimum of 2 years, ideally 4, so even with the later usage, you can still get a lot of life out of this seat.
I bought it for my 2 year old when his Radian XT was close to expiry, and while it is a pain to learn to install properly, speaking with a CPST (check out the safe kids website) and following Car Seats For The Little's Guide to the Guide gave me a great install. My son just surpassed 3 years in this seat, still rearfacing with plenty of room to make it to 4.
It claims it can fit 3 across. This rings true for the second row of my tahoe, but not the third row.
It is fairly comfortable, light weight, and a budget friendly instore option.
In the images, children who aren't mine have stickers on their faces, but the other 3 are mine. 8 year old in a no back booster, 6 year old in a high back booster, 3 year old in the Guide65 Sport rear facing.

I wish I had done my homework before purchasing it

It's nice and inexpensive l, I bought it as a second seat in my husband's car but when forward facing there is zero recline and my son falls asleep in it and his head wiggles and he ends up sleeping with his head on his shoulder and wakes up crying when it starts to hurt.
The headrest is thick which is good but the total design makes the headrest push the head forward.
Other than that, the seat is very nice and fells safe but this is a major con for me.

Good car seat for its price
August 23, 2016
We bought this car seat for Grandmas car. My now two year old still uses it rear facing. I love that it is light weight and pretty east to install. We haven't had any issues. The removable cup holder is a nice bonus on longer car rides. I recommend this car seat for older babies and toddlers only because in our car we could not get it to recline enough where I would feel comfortable putting my new born in. Other than that it's great for its price ❤️

I used this car seat as a spear in my other car it was all going good but after having it for a year & a half it was extremely dirty! I took it apart which was somewhat easy but after washing it i tried to put it back together and the head rest part was a pain in the but to reinstall...

Love this seat, and will by again for new baby!
July 15, 2016
We love it. It takes up less space than the Graco Comfort Sport we had for the first 2 kids, yet fits bigger! If we needed to, we could have fit 3 of these across the back seat of our old Nissan Sentry. Easy to adjust & install, seems comfy, easy to remove & replace cover, and fits our budget. Only 2 downsides: the seat cover shrank when I washed it according to the tag, making it difficult to put back on since; there is a big price jump between different fabric options even though the features are identical. I have recommended this seat to anyone who asks for suggestions!
