Great stroller and a great company!
December 14, 2013
Not only was this great stroller priced incredibly low, but it was clear this is not some mega-company that doesn't care about the customer. On the contrary, I got a call from someone with a question about my order and they clearly knew their product and were calling from the actual company. It was refreshing. I would order from Albee Baby again, as I have in the past. I hope they stick around for a long time.
Pros
  • This is a quality stroller that is easy to push and to manuever. It is not anything like the old umbrella strollers I used to use. And, there is storage underneath the seat area, which is nice. Oh, and the cover extends really far over the baby making it very useful for blocking out the sun and other unwanted elements.
Best Uses
  • The best thing about this stroller is that you can recline the seat completely flat. I saw my granddaughter sleeping in it and she looked very comfortable.
Cons
  • I wish you could collapse this stroller more easily. It is kind of a pain to get in and out of the car. It seems you have to actually take it apart ot get it in the trunk.

such a hassle
January 31, 2014
Me and my husband are equally dissapointed in this product. It is difficult to open and close, gets stuck when I try to close it. Its not convenient, I bought this because I thought it would be good for travel but we will be buying another stroller for that now because this one would just be a headache to travel with. Not sure why these quinnys are so expensive, it doesnt seem like anything special. We wish we would've just kept our old stroller. On the up side, my son seems to like sitting in it and it's nice that you can switch the views from facing the world to facing mom!
Pros
  • Versatile
Cons
  • Hard to open and close, seems to be broken already and only used it five times.

I was dissapointed with this product. Not that easy to fold
Pros
  • Its a little lighter than other heavy stroller
Best Uses

Cons
  • When your fold the stroller, you need to take the sit off because it doesn't fold with the stroller itself like other strollers do

I wish I had more money to get the new model but this one is FABULOUS
November 26, 2013
This folds completely as long as you are doing it correctly. Used with my Maxi Cosi car seat, and now am using the stroller and my son can face me which he needs. Washable material. Just through in your trunk. When getting on the bus Ieave him in the seat, carry him in the seat and just close the base.
Pros
  • Canopy, lightweight, folds up small.
Best Uses
  • City, light shopping, park,
Cons
  • the new model fixed the con, remove seat to fold, new version does that.

It does NOT fold completely
September 18, 2013
I searched throughout the web and this stroller always folded completely. But somehow I got a version that does not fold the seat. That's sad. It's a very good stroller though.

Affordable Rear-Facing Stroller!!!
August 13, 2013
I didn't have a thousand dollars to spend on the other types of rear-facing strollers, so I was very excited to see the Quinny Zapp Xtra had the option. The stroller is very easy to put together. It took me less than 10 minutes (whereas the Graco one we have took me over 30 minutes). It's super easy to flip the seat to front or rear facing. The canopy is excellent & can provide complete coverage when needed. In the rear facing position, the chair has a little bit of a wobble. Nothing that feels at all unsafe, but it doesn't seem as secure as the front facing set up.I wish it came with a cup holder. Also, the front wheels are pretty wimpy - they get stuck on every big sidewalk bump - but if you know to watch out for that, you can prevent the jarring crashes.Overall, I'm really happy with this stroller & my baby loves being able to see whoever is pushing him.
Pros
  • Rear facing option, and ease of set up/use
Best Uses
  • Being able to chat with your little one while out walking!
Cons
  • no cup holder, front wheels are wimpy & get stuck at everything

good quality for the price !
August 4, 2013
I got my quinny zapp extra & was super excited to get it out for a stroll. I had been reading a lot of online reviews and heard plenti of good and bad reviews but over all I was really satisfied with my purchase the price was great and it shipped on time ..my only concern is that my stroller does not fold . I contacted Albee baby and the customer service rep was extremely rude and unhelful ...it was a huge dissatisfaction. That alone made me want to return the item no matter how great the price . But other than that' the transaction was good fast and easy . The stroller is great swivels smoothly breaks are amazing and the way it looks is just great ! (Only wish I could get it to fold)
Pros
  • Great break system, looks extremely good & frame folds up
Best Uses
  • Great for long walks, shopping & moving around
Cons
  • SEAT WILL NOT FOLD! Not enough storage space

Nice stroller
August 1, 2013
Nice stroller, I got it because I wanted something compact and easy to maneuver. I love that it doesn't take up much space and it's very light weight. Perfect for trips to the store. However this stroller is NOT for rough terrain, it's very hard to push on grass or gravel. Also the storage basket is very small and the canopy doesn't stay up if the seat is reclined.
Pros
  • Small, lightweight, easy to maneuver with one hand, reclining positions, options on which way you want your child to face.
Cons
  • The canopy doesn't stay up , no cup holder, doesn't do good on gravel or grass small storage basket.

Very Compact
May 17, 2013
I received this stroller about two weeks ago. It is quite compact, a little tricky to learn how to assemble for the first time. I was under the impression that the seat attachment would fold with the main part of the stroller; however, it does not and needs to be stored separately. The fabric in this brown is actually more of a military green/brown (again, not what I was expecting, but it doesn't really affect the function). The Quinny is fairly light. It does make some creaky noises walking over bumps in the sidewalk. I bought this stroller for the ability to bring along in the car or on airplanes easily. The canopy is so well designed-I am very impressed with its ability to completely cover the entire seat. I haven't yet figured out to use the footrest; it's a little awkward for my daughter's feet to rest on. The five point harness is really well designed with soft padded covers to go around the neck. Storage in the basket is a little small, but I don't need much space anyway. For this price, it is a very nice well designed stroller.

quinny zapp
February 10, 2013
purchased this stroller as it went with a maxi cosi mico infant seat that we got on clearance at toys r us. our son loves the stroller itself, it has a full recline and he dozes off in it and seems very comfortable. we like that the stroller (as it comes) is reversable, allowing us to have the baby front or rear facing. it does take some getting used to and i can see people not liking that the stroller itself seperates into 2 seperate units when it closes down, unlike most strollers that just collapse into one piece. Currently though we are using it for our infant car seat and the small frame of the stroller does not take up much trunk space, and even when we will eventually use it as a just the stroller it shouldn't take up much space because the seat flattens out and is a space saver. this is highly recommended if you're tight on trunk space. :)
Pros
  • compact
  • sturdy
  • light weight
Cons
  • does not collapse into itself.
  • takes some getting used to.

The Quinny extra is great stroller.
December 23, 2012
The stroller glides easily, and is easy to manuver.
Pros
  • It is compact, glides easy, and manuvers well. One exception is when picking up stroller with child in it to use the stairs, it feels clumsey and unstable.

All and all a great stroller
December 19, 2012
My little man loves this stroller. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that you have to take the seat out when collapsing it. The biggest pro is that he can face me. It runs smooth, and I get a ton of complements.Would definitely recommend.
Pros
  • smooth, easy use (after a few times), compact, rear and front facing, reclines
Cons
  • you have to remove seat to collapse, no cup holder, small basket
