Very nice stroller

Overall I'm very happy with this stroller the only complain is that one of the wheels is kind of loose. This stroller runs very smoothly and my 3 old baby likes very much the bassinet.

Love this stroller!

My baby is super comfy in the pram, he's only 4 months so we havent used the upright stroller attachment yet. Love the minimalist undercarriage with the collaspable basket. Smooth ride, super smooth in fact, so don't forget to lock it with the one step locking feature because if there's even a slight decline you will be chasing a run away stroller. The stroller is bulky and comes in three parts, the bassinet, the stroller seat and the frame that the other two snap into. The bulkyness doesn't bother me, i have an SUV (which is where I keep it) and knew that it was a bulky stroller before I purchased it. To put it in the car, you have to detach the bassinet (which super easy to do) and then collapse the frame which is also very easy to do, but it may be more steps than some may want to take. There's a cup attachment that i swore i needed and insisted on having it clipped on despite the fact that it always snags on things, but so far I haven't missed it since I lost it (It also detaches a little too easy). This stroller is perfect for me since I do most of my traveling by car. I couldn't imagine having to use this stroller getting on and off buses or trains. Its not that kind of stroller. I use the stroller for leisurely walks to the park or outtings at the mall, museums, and stuff like that. You'll need help getting up and down stairs if its just you and your baby. So far, I really love this stroller, my baby loves it too. Its very attractive also, I get tons of compliments on it, which is something I didn't expect but its a bonus!

Durable, good, easy to push, but heavy

This is the second peg perego stroller I have. The first one is P3 in lavenda, still in use.I put skate in the back trunk, and use it when we go out.Three position designs are really sweet, I can adjust it whenever I need.Little can eat with us besides the table, it's a really handy design, love this. It's fashion, durable, worthy every penny. But, nothing is perfect.I have to admit, it's heavy. I can lift p3 with my son sitting in there. But in skate, it's very hard. Besides this, I think it's a very good stroller.
Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Stylish
  • Durable
Cons
  • Heavy

Peg perego Skate 2010
January 11, 2011
This stroller is very nice. It is much spacier than the 2008 Skate and the separate bassinet is awesome. One cool thing about the bassinet is that the head rest rises so that as the baby gets older it can sit up a little. The seat also has more room than the older model. I wish they had kept the air filled tires since they make for a smoother ride. Also, the foot muff is really hard to button up. Since the cup holder is on the outside of the handle it gets in the way of doors, but you can take it off in less than a second. The way this stroller glides is amazing! You can push this stroller with one hand anywhere you go. It's very easy to put together and to fold. Another really nice feature in this stroller is that the handle bar has 8 different height adjustments which is very convenient if your at church or sitting at a table you can lower the handle bar to your height and it won't be in your way. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a baby.
Pros
  • Easy to maneuver, bassinet head rest rises.
Cons
  • foot muff
