Bought three for my boys and the absolutely love their desks!

I am very happy with the small desk for my grand daughter. It seems to be well made and is very attractive. It is sturdy and well worth the price. I just love this desk! It is of fine quality for the money and was so easy to put together. It is of a beautiful wood and solid. i can even sit on the chair! I purchased this desk for my grandson, that last one I purchase in the store was plastic and plain junk so I took it back. Also kids love the write on chalkboards. I have a chalkboard that I recently hung in my kitchen for my grandkids. Every one of them has to create something when they come over, they just gravitate to it. So now I take their photo next to their creations. Their ages are 2, 3, 7, 11, 13.Thanks again for a quality product.Kathy

I bought 2 of this set for my kids. One set had lots of scratches on the desk (big enough to be noticed) and the other set had a crack in the bottom of the seat where the screw is supposed to hold the seat. I mentioned this to Albee Baby customer service personnel and they contacted the manufacturer and I am promised that new shipment of those damaged parts are on the way. The desk and the chair (when assembled) (one from each set) looks beautiful and I have absolutely no complains. Right now both my kids are using that one set, but soon enough they would both enjoy their own and I think its one of those investments that I am going to be proud of for a long time :)
