It has a waterproof pad that is removable (the mattress is approximately 1 inch thick to comply with safety standards) and is PBDE free. The pad takes a standard bassinet sheet and comes with an ultra soft ecru velour sheet. The bedding is removable for easy washing. Light assembly required.
