Babies Can Escape!
June 9, 2012
I bought this crib for my 18 month old granddaughter to use when she visits, and she really slept well in it. She is very athletic, & unfortunately figured out how to boost herself up at one of the posts, swing her leg over & escape. Luckily, I had purchased the mosquito net that attaches under the legs, and we used it, making it impossible for her to get out on her own. If you have a climbing toddler, the net is a must. The crib is sturdy & kids seem to like playing in it with the flap open
Pros
  • Sturdy, compact, fits in a large suitcase or can be carried in a backpack.
Cons
  • Toddlers can escape from it.

Worth every penny!
May 21, 2012
I purchased this crib after lots of research on pack and plays and other portable cribs, knowing how much of a hassle every pack and play I had ever come in contact with was to fold and lug around. I couldn't be more pleased, and neither could my daughter! She has been using this crib since she was four months old and is now almost sixteen months. She enjoys playing in the crib with the front zipper open and sleeps fine with the flap closed and locked. I have taken this crib on several trips including three cruises and I thank my lucky stars every time I inflate this crib in just minutes! Folding the crib down just takes a bit of practice, and I have found just the right technique to slide it right in the handy backpack supplied. I truly cannot say enough about how convenient, easy, and also sturdy this crib is. When I saw the video of the man standing on the piece of wood on top of the crib,I knew I had found the one. There is only one complaint. The air mattress is too thin. I remedied this by cutting a piece of twin size memory foam to size and I just fold that up in a travel space bag. Its a small task that most certainly does not outweigh the convenience of this crib! I use a mattress pad and crib sheet, with the memory foam and air mattress, its only slightly big, not enough to cause trouble. My daughter sleeps great in it. The pump seems cheap but it works fine, and fits right in the bag. I'd like to see an adapter for a regular pump just in case.
Pros
  • Easy to inflate
  • valves do not leak, maintains pressure
  • Very sturdy
  • lightweight
Cons
  • Mattress too thin
  • Pump less than sturdy

Very happy

We are very happy with this purchase! The set up is very quick and easy and it packs into a relatively small packsack - makes it easy to take anywhere. I especially like the fact that there is nothing that our little one can hurt themselves on - no hard edges anywhere.

Great!!

The Go Crib is light, portable and compact. The matteress is too thin but if you use the quitled crib sheet from the Guava Family, it makes the padding a tad thicker. The pump looks and feels cheap but does the job. Just be careful when you use it. You can't just buy a replacement pump from the store. I put my 17th-month-old son in it several times and he seems to be open to sitting and playing in it. I think he will be able sleep in it even though it is much smaller than his crib. The price is a bit too much but if you want quality, durability, compact design and the easiness of setting the crib up then perhaps the money was worth spending.
Pros
  • Portable, light, design, material and easy of setting up the crib.
Cons
  • Price, pump looks and feels cheap (can't replace with one from store), crib sheet size is not compatible with other store brands.

Awesome
July 17, 2011
The Guava GoCrib is awesome. I needed to replace a play yard and stumbled upon this gem. Light weight, easy to set up and take down, and comfy for baby. I can see how you can easily get several years of use out of it as I have to shoo my 5 year old out of it. It is very sturdy, and though I don't encourage it, the sides support the weight of my older kids as they lean over to talk to their sister. The side zipper is a great feature to access baby. If you are an "on the go family" the GoCrib will offer you lots of flexibility. Beware the crib does take up a fair amount of room when inflated but it is easy to move around if you need to get it out of your way.
Pros
  • easy to use, sturdy, portable, unique look
Cons
  • cost

A must have for new moms.....forget the pack n' play!!
June 17, 2011
I came across this item a few weeks ago when researching travel beds for my 13 month old. We are going on vacation soon, and I didn't want to check our pack n play on the plane and drag it through the airport. What interested me the most about this product was that it was stored in a back pack and inflated itself. I decided to throw caution to the wind and try this out for myself. I bought this and received it rather quickly & was anxious to use it for a weekend getaway before our big trip. I was surprised at how compact this thing is! I carefully took it out and within 5 minutes had the whole thing set up. I took it down and had it all packed away in another five minutes. This thing is sturdy, yet easy to pick up and move around. We took it on our weekend trip, and my son fell fast asleep in it with no problems. THere is a zipper door for them to crawl in and out of, but I never unzipped it. I just laid him down in it like I would a crib. I had it blown up for 6 days and checked the pressure and it was fine each time. I have been a mom for almost 6 years, and I sure wish they would have had this when I had my first baby. This is ten times better than a pack and play, and after having 3 kids I can honestly say a pack n play has no greater function than this product. This product does the same exact thing, but it also does one thing that the pack n play doesn't. It fits compactly in a back pack. If you are a parent and have ever made a little trip, you know hauling all the baby stuff is a pain. I LOVE that we can just grab the back pack and go. There is a reason these are sold out. Simply an amazing product. If you are considering, just buy it, you will LOVE it!!
Pros
  • Easily stores in back pack.
  • Self inflates.
  • Easy set up, easy take down.
  • My son slept fine in it, no problems at all!
  • Lightweight.
Cons
  • If I had to stretch, there are only 2 things that could be improved. One, I never have been able to get the crib back in the backpack as tight as it was when I opened it. I think it will just take practice. Two, there is no crib sheet that you can buy to fit. I made my own and it works great. I heard Guava was working on a sheet for this product.
