Works for our purpose!

A family member is using our Snugride 35, so I bought the extra base so we can transport our nephew in our car. Works just great, and we installed it using LATCH. Only thing is, when we bought the seat, it wasn't called "Classic Connect," so I initially bought the wrong base. There's confusion there.

worst car seat !

bought this for my son and he is at average weight but still we cannot use this car seat with his winter jacket on. We have to remove his jacket and put him on the car seat even when the strap if fully extended. Worst design. A little bit of additional length of strap would have helped a lot.

I called graco support after looking high and low for a base matching a seat my daughter was given by a family friend. your operator told me the base that i needed to properly fit the seat we had. she also advised me to check the date on the seat to ensure it was still in date. very, very helpful.

Great flexibility

I love the flexibility of the classic connect set. We ordered the second base for my husbands truck after being frustrated with the carseat we purchased for him. The Snugride 35 not only looks great, it holds up (I've already washed spit up off the carseat numerous times in the first two months) and is VERY safe! The base is very easy to install and seems very secure once in.

Our son is two weeks old and has the Rittenhouse 35 seat. It is a pretty and gender neutral pattern. The seat is sturdy and of good quality. This seat is larger than our seat four years ago so it is taking some getting used to. I am short and petite (5') and find it awkward but managable. My husband found it easy to install and loved the adjustable base.

Much better than the base that came with my Graco car seat! It is much nicer to install and the turn dial allows for a much tighter fit. I know my little one is snug! You should include this base with all of your car seats.

Easy to install

Have two bases, one for my CRV with the LATCH system and one for my husbands Chevy Truck with the seatbelt to secure it. Easy to install in both settings. Easy to get tight. In my CRV with leather seats we did use a carseat pad underneat and it still would tighten down. At first i thought the front of the base moved around too much but according to the car seat saftey expert it moved around a normal amount (less that 1" to each side.) Would buy again.
