This is our 3rd Clek Foonf so we definitely love them! I love how easy the fabric is to clean (think no lingering smells for throw up, pee/poop). We spot cleaned any accidents with no issues. The extra safety features were the selling point for us. It is a little heavy but the reinforced steel is worth it IMO. I like that it doesn’t look as bulky as a typical convertible car seat as well.

This was the first convertible carseat we purchased and it was fantastic! It sits up pretty high so as our daughter grew it was easier for her to see out the windows. Very easy to install. This carseat is a tank. I feel comfortable with its safety and confident that it will adequately protect my child in a car accident (hopefully won't have to ever test this). Only downside is it's HEAVY and kind of a pain to install. Maybe consider something else if you plan to move your carseat in and out of your car a lot.

I personally did not like this car seat. I originally had a Nuna Rava and loved that. After getting into a car accident and learning that we were expected another, we decided to replace the Rava with the Clek for space. Although it was slimmer, it felt heavier than the Rava and never as secure. My toddler said it hurt her back and that she wasn't cozy, it made traveling miserable for her and us. Overall, this car seat is more expensive, more difficult to navigate, heavier, and uncomfortable. We ended up taking the loss and repurchasing the Rava. This just did not work for our family.

Yes the seat looks sleek. Yes install is fairly easy. Yes it’s solid and seems safe. However this seat is not meant for road trips or car rides longer than an hour max. My daughter complains about her back hurting. She can’t get comfortable to sleep. She complained when she was still rear facing, but she was 2 or 3 and I thought she was just being fussy. Now that she’s forward facing and just turned 5, we took a road trip that took several hours and she was able to verbalize what was happening. I knew I should have installed her Chicco seat in our truck because the foonf is just not made for anything outside of regular daily driving. Chicco have all around better seats.

Love this color combo (blue fabric and black frame) and wish they would have it in the Oobr. These seats feel so sturdy and safe. They're simple and look sleek. Not a lot of stuff for things to get lost in and they stay clean. I personally prefer the Thunder color and we have a seat in that fabric color. But when buying a second I let the kids pick so they can have a little fun and get excited about using their seat. This fabric feels less "sleek" than the Thunder but Clek claims they're both equally stain resistant. Love how long they can stay rear facing and how simple they are to use.

Although it took a bit to understand installation, once I figured it out it was straight forward and feels SIGNIFICANTLY more secure, thanks to the metal LATCH system rather than the soft strap. This was my first ever car seat purchase and I was on the lookout for the best. It has truly been a wonderful car seat for our first child who is 2 years old as of today! We haven't run into any issues at all with it. High in price, but I feel that the quality of materials, safety, and peace of mind has been totally worth it! Only other thing I'd mention is how heavy the seat is. If you need something lightweight and portable you're in the wrong place--hope you already know that. I personally have only spot cleaned the seat but have read the washable cover is easy to clean and replace. The merino wool/tencel fabric has worn very well in my opinion. We don't allow food in our little one's carseat 95% of the time so the amount of soiling has been minimal naturally. With as much as our daughter has kicked her legs around I'm pleasantly surprised there's been close to ZERO piling/wearing down of the fabric. Looking forward to getting many more years of use out of this car seat!

I bought this for my 2-year old, hoping to extend rear facing for another year. I’m quite tall (5’11”) so I can’t safely install it behind my seat. On the passenger side, it creates a huge blind spot. This makes taking angled left-hand turns dangerous, and I have to do this daily. Hopefully it’ll be better when forward facing, but I’m wishing I bought another Britax or tried a Nuna Rava.

I’ve purchased more Foonfs than I care to admit. We love them for our kids. They’re built like a tank, they’re slim and stylish, and we’ve never heard a peep complaining about comfort. Importantly, I don’t worry about my kids safety in this car seat. I also love that they have a merino wool option. There are some improvements that could be made (Aka washability of the fabric) but honestly it’s not a big deal.

We are just setting up this car seat now. My favorite features are the reasons we bought it. The slim design and flame retardant free! We had the infant carrier and I wanted to not have to worry about what car we had and be able to have three across. Im happy to say after seeing how this fits next to the infant base we would have plenty of room for three across with this brand. I wish more brands would make their seats narrower. Our son has room to grow into this seat. Like other clek features it isn’t my favorite for ease of use and the instructions could use some work. I also got a cut from a metal shaving on the headrest when I was installing it. The harness is the typical material for car belts and this one had some long strings that missed their cut. I’ve been less than impressed with cleks quality overall. I think the price point demands better quality assurance for the end product. Nevertheless I am excited to start using it and hoping that I won’t have gripes about it. I will update accordingly as we use it.

Not going to sugar coat it, this car seat is heavy. But no part of this car seat feels cheap. We also own a cheaper $100 popular brand car seat for travel and the difference is night and day in quality. My wife and I only came across this brand because our vehicle has inflatable seatbelts in the rear seats. Only a handful of car seats are approved to be used with inflatable seatbelts and the Clek Foonf is one of them. The LATCH connection for forward facing is amazing and makes install easy. The cherry on top is that this car seat actually looks good too. The child seat belts move freely when trying to loosen or tighten. We love this car seat so much we bought a second for our second vehicle that doesn't have inflatable seat belts. We will also continue to use Clek in the future because of this experience.

I’m so sad that I don’t love this car seat. It’s important to note this has ZERO padding on the inside, which was a huge adjustment going from the infant seat to this. She screams every time she gets in it, and there really isn’t much we can do to adjust it. It was also very difficult to install, and sits up high so she bumps her head getting in. We lost our window to return it, but for their money there are so many better options with higher value out there.
