Britax Vigour Companion System in Aqua

We received the Britax system and had figured everything out within minutes. Very simple and smooth transitions. I was most impressed with the safety features of the car seat (side impact insert is very well- made) and the smooth and easy ride on the stroller- so easy to maneuver. My 6 year old can manage it with ease. The quality you get at the price of this set can't be beat. I spent months searching for exactly the right thing. I knew what i did not like about my dautgher's car seat and stroller and this answered all of those concerns and more. We are very active and are happy that we can use this as a jogging stroller as well. The latching system is very easy to use. Plus, it's all very nice looking (bonus). These items are heavy, but that was not something that concerned us much and honestly made us feel that our baby would be safer. Excellent value for the money- I will be loyal to the Britax brand.

We loved the idea of using the same frame for both the car sit and the stroller. The stroller frame works OK for infant. The frame folds compactly enough. But is a little heavy. It is very sturdy and safe. The car sit is sturdy and safe as well but is heavy to carry around and difficult to unlock from base. Later on when child is too big for infant car sit and you have to carry stroller around it gets more complicated because stroller sit doesn't fold at all. It ends up taking a lot of space in the car and it is not practical to travel by air because its BIG. It works great to have around the house and neighborhood or to take to park every now and then but not to have in car to use constantly. You would have to purchase a different kind of stroller for that and then you end up with many strollers in your house. Just something to keep in mind. If I had a second choice I wouldn't pick this system. There are a lot of things that I like but it is not practical enough for me.
