The Glider Board is a great way to let your older child hitch a ride. It attaches easily to the rear axle of your stroller and has a non-slip surface so you know your child will be safe. The Glider Board can flip out of the way when not in use and folds easily even when attached to the stroller.

It fits perfectly on the double baby jogger stroller! Im on the shorter size so it makes it a little harder for me to push an extra kid while they are on the board but overall I’m happy with it!

The glider doesn’t extend far enough from the scooter for us to be able to use it. My son was 3 when we got it and couldn’t stand up on the glider without his head hitting the handlebars.

I bought this last week for my toddler who likes to skateboard and to save for future use with our future baby. It snaps well onto our citi mini GT (it doesnt list it on the main product page but when you scroll down it does.) There is no space for him to place his head between the stroller and the handle bars. Or it doesnt pull out enough for him, which causes him to lean back and hold on for dear life. (If it doesn't tip.)

My kiddos are 4 years apart so I bought this thinking it would be great for my older. The product itself is easy to install and well made, however; it's so difficult to push the stroller when a kid is standing on the glider. There's no room to step. Good idea, poor execution by Baby Jogger. Did anyone test this out before putting it on the market?!

Poor body mechanics

We LOVE the idea of this but the mechanics hardly work for us to use this with our 3 year old. My husband and I either have to push with our arms completely extended, or One of us pushing the handle on each side of our child, making it very difficult to push for long walks. I would love to talk to somebody from customer support or the design team, as we would love to make our stroller work longer for our three young kids! We started out with a city mini, and now have a city select with two seats and this board.

Not as versatile!
By Jason W.

This product is sturdy so 2 stars for that, but the wheels suck. You cannot use this very well if you're on a surface that isn't smooth/flat. It also removes some of the walking space so I feel like the stroller handle bars should have an extension to compensate for that loss. Hopefully the R&D Team takes a look at this product.

Disappointing design

We have been so delighted with our City Mini GT for more than 2 years. We recommend it to everyone and have loved how light, sturdy and versatile it is. So when our second baby came along, we jumped at the chance to adapt it for our toddler and infant using the glider board. I'm so disappointed to find that it really doesn't work well with the mini GT at all. In order to make room for our 27 month-old's head, the handlebar has to be flipped all the way up, which makes pushing the stroller uncomfortable. We also have to shorten our stride so that our feet don't hit the board. Both of these issues might be resolved with a handlebar extension, but no such product is available. Anyway, it pains me to write a bad review because we live our city mini GT and all our other baby jogger accessories so much, but I'm just so disappointed with the glider - and it was not cheap. :(

Great for City Select, bad for City Mini GT2

When this was used with my City Select it worked like a charm. If you have a City Select I recommend this. When I tried using it with my City Mini GT2 it was not usable. The board was at an angle and my son couldn't stand on it. I do not recommend for a City Mini GT2

I bought this product and only used it once. It is impossible to walk with the glider attached. As I walk my feet hit the glider I had to watch every step I took.

Great stroller addition for older kids

This is just what I needed and have been wanting for a while. It makes it so easy for my kiddos to just jump on quick. Only downside is that it takes up a lot of room for the parent to walk so it's a little awkward. Also, the weight limit is 45 lbs so my 5 year old is going to be too big for it pretty quickly.

love the option, stays on our city select lux

Got this as an option for our 2.5 year old while using the City Select Lux. Our daughter loves riding it. It's really easy to install and it folds up out of the way really easily. We leave it attached to the stroller all the time, just need to make sure the wheels are out of the way when we fold it up. We always take the seats off though so that might make the difference. Our daughter loves riding it and not having to be strapped in. We just extend the handlebar all the way (which my husband does anyway) and she pops her head up in front of the handlebar.

Works great, the kids love it. Makes it easy to transport my 3 kids, now they don't fight over who is going to sit or walk, now the fight over who gets to ride the glider. :-)

Depends on which stroller you have

I bought the glider board a few weeks ago and have been using it a lot with my City Select, no problems (though my arms do have to be extended a little more than usual).

However, I also have the City Mini (which is the one I bought the glider board to use with) and it does not work AT ALL. I can't turn the stroller when it's attched; it feels like it's too front heavy, but with my 30lb toddler and 20lb baby in the seat I don't feel like this should be an issue. My toddler also doesn't have a lot of room while standing, but we could make it work if the thing could actually turn. Frustrating because we bought the board to go with the City Mini specifically for NYC subway ease.

Glider Board not compatible with city mini gt

I love my city mini gt single and double stroller. So much so that when I lost my city mini gt single stroller (moving internationally), I went straight into a store to re purchase it. However, I also have the glider board and while this board works quite well not the double stroller (because the handle is bigger), it isn't compatible with the single stroller. Unfortunately the handle bar on the single stroller gets in the way when my son is riding on the glider board, making it difficult to use. My only wish is that Baby Jogger enable the city mini gt single handle bar to extend as this would mean that my son could use the glider board properly.

Not useful

I LOVE my city mini GT and now that my oldest likes to mostly walk, I was excited to be able to use the single again with the glider board attachment. Unfortunately, the placement of the board makes it completely unusable for my son. He's 3.5 and 41" tall. There is not enough room for his head to fit between the stroller and handle, and even with the board fully extended and the handle fully up, he cannot stand on the board without having to lean back to clear the handle. I'm highly disappointed that this product does not work.

I've had my glider for about 6 months and I really like it. My kids are 14 months apart and it comes in handy when I need to make a quick trip into a store, doctors office or restaurant. I will use my city select as a single but face the youngest towards us so the kids entertain each other. I live in the country and it even works ok on our old blacktop road but it is a little noisy.

Not made for the mini double.
By Bena

on May 11, 2016
I saw reviews with it in use for the select and it looked great. With the double there is plenty of leg room so no bumping of legs and my 4 and 2 year old easily fit between the stroller and handle bar.

The downside is that it is not designed for the double. You cannot fold it up and it does not store well at all with it attached. They should have made some design adjustments for double.

While they are at it they should design it so that you can put two side by side or just one in the midde or one long one. Either way it should fold nicely.

Not fit for purpose

I love love love my new baby jogger city mini so bought the glider board expecting the same quality. Unfortunately this was not the case, firstly it scratched the silver finish on the frame where it clips on, secondly when pushing my two year old the wheels would go crazy , flapping about so it felt like I was pushing though thick mud and thirdly I could not walk up rightly due to the position of the board. I am not one to complain but with something that you use everyday it has to be right. I had to do without the buggy board and my little boy is without a ride :(

Has cons
By Jill h.
from Los Angeles, CA, United States
on August 24, 2015
I was so excited to get this cause it looks awesome, but I'm a little disappointed. It isn't as awesome as I want it to be. Here are the cons:
1) The handle bar of the stroller is all up in my toddlers face, even when the glider board is in its most far back setting.
2) It makes it hard to reach the handle bar (and I'm 5'9") of my city mini GT and makes it hard to steer.
3) I keep kicking the wheel of the glider board when walking. Which hurts when you're in flip flops
4) you have to take the wheels off in order to fold the stroller.

Overall, I don't love it, but I'm gonna keep it for those few instances when the pros of having it will outweigh the cons. But I will not use as often as I would've liked because of the reasons stated above.

LOVE this!

Really. really LOVE the glider board! For parents with another sibling that wants to be included - this is awesome. I've used it on the single city mini (where yes, it isn't very convenient for the parent's feet) and the gt double. On the gt double, I put the stroller handle in the highest position so the larger child doesn't have to squeeze their head through - they keep their head free and can hold onto the handle bar (with you). If your child is bitsy enough, then putting their head through the handle is fun for them. They can hold onto either the handle or the back of the stroller. One annoyance is that the board does "wobble" if little feet aren't placed directly in center or when going over rough terrain. Also, be aware that the weight limit is less for the board than for the stroller seat. I'm very pleased that the board comes with elastic straps to swing it up (onto the stroller) and out of the way when not in use - a HUGE plus that other brands do not include. The board pops completely on and off easily - only takes half a min. and no tools required! Stroller can usually be folded with it on also. I've used the board on pavement, grass, sand covered sidewalks, indoors (carpeting), etc.

I bought this for my older child when I switched to a single stroller full time. I've used it once, and it is a giant pain. The older kid is in the way, no matter what you do. It's a great idea, but I wish I hadn't bought it.
