Happy, Safe Baby
February 6, 2012
I'm very happy with this seat. We bought two seats for each car because the price is so great. The seat seems to be very safe and secure and our baby looks very comfortable. Love that it can be both rear and front facing for when he is older.
Can be used for a long time. Safe. Easy to install.
The snap release is hard to press and disconnect.

Good mid-level seat
January 23, 2012
We originally got this as a secondary seat for the second car for our 7 month old. We ended up making it the primary seat because we liked how cushy it is, and how it protects our baby (who is kind of on the big side) all around. Our only issue is with the harness - not the easiest to tighten, and the metal buckle parts keep falling on the sides, so we have to keep fishing them out. It IS a pretty bulky seat - fits just fine in our minivan but in a smaller car would probably fit only behind the passenger seat that is pulled all the way up. Overall, we like this seat, it was worth the money we paid for it.

I have had the Graco My Ride 65 for only a few short months. So far I love it! The pros are: heavy duty, sturdy, easy to use, great for forward facing, love the cup holders. Cons: not really suited for rear facing although you can do it, wouldn't recommend taking in and out of vehicle its to bulky and heavy, really wide so it takes up a lot of room. My husband and I drove 4000 miles for Christmas and our son slept well in it and seemed to enjoy it. Most important my son is kinda of on the small side and I feel that he is very safe in this carseat.
Heavy Duty Secure Easy to use Forward Facing Great Good for toddlers
Rear Facing not so great Moving it Bulky Too Wide

Buckle design changed
December 8, 2011
We have the older version of My Ride 65 and got this new one for baby on the way. Very similar to old design but the crotch buckle is different. instead of sliding the red button down towards child's feet to release buckle, this one you push in towards the child. It is smaller and I am hoping it becomes easier as we use it more. Seems sort of stiff/ hard to click and release but time will tell. Hard to tell in the picture. The other difference I know of is the infant padding is different on this one. Haven't used with child yet so my rating is a guess so far, based on my like for the one we use.
