Fisher-Price Baby's Bandstand Play Gym

My child received this to try out last year and still uses it at the age of three and enjoys it. It is convenient to fold and take along with iwth anywhere as well as the parts to itare very child friendly and I just love the colors on it as well.

We recently received the Baby's Bandstand Play Gym. I love the fact that my baby is able to use this while on their belly and/or on their back. Causing her stretch her back, arms, and legs. Exercising and helping her pull up!

My kids (baby and toddler) play with this so well Together!!! It entertains then both and is so cute!

I love that this mat does something to keep the little ones interested. Often the baby lays a cries during tummy time but with this mat they can touch the instruments and make noise. I would recommend this to any new mom.

This is a great play mat! Both my 12 month old and my newborn could use it in different ways. My newborn liked tummy time on the mat and could see the contrast in the bright, vibrant colors. She also loved looking at the toys hanging from the bar. My older baby is really into music and loves this!! He was even moving to the music. This product is great for teaching children cause and effect and introducing sounds. Would definitely recommend this to other moms.

This play mat is great. The colors hold the baby's attention and the toys are interesting to the baby. This makes tummy time a little easier to stand for my baby who hates it.

The band stand gym is really amazing, there is music, toys, and so much more that keeps my infant occupied. It was a easy set up unlike other play gyms i had purchased before were always falling apart after set up. My son was able to play with it lying down, sitting up or lying on hist stomach. He could use his different motor skills such as crawling, kicking, or pulling to make different sounds on the mat, which he loved. I am glad because my son does not follow me everywhere anymore more since the play gym constantly occupies his attention

This is a really fun activity mat. There are SO many on the market and that means there is a lot of competition as parents have many options to choose from. There were a lot of things I really liked about this and a couple things I didn't. I love the colors on this mat. They are definitely an attention getter for my son. I love the different hanging toys that can be detached. They're shaped like different instruments and have parts that move or making noise. The mat is also very soft. My son could tap the different icons on the mat to hear music from the different instruments. It is sensitive enough that a little tap worked which is great. The issue I have with it is that it's very awkward because there is a bulky box that contains the batteries/power for them instruments. It's kind of in the way and makes this mat a little awkward to use. You also have to make sure that the strap underneat is velcroed on in the right position and stays on as that is how the sound works. It can get a little tangled with the box. Another issue I have with this is the overall durability and quality. It's a small mat, the bars over the top are flimsy and the fabric on the back looks like its about to rip from holding the bars in place. It's bulging after just setting it up. Overall, I think this is an adorable mat and it is definitely fun. I do think there are better mats out there with more to do and a larger surface area as well as better quality. However, if you are looking for one to fit in a smaller space then this will be great. The ability to tap the different icons on the actual mat to make music and sounds is pretty neat as well.

The play gym has made tummy time enjoyable for my nephew. He's gained head control and is able to focus on the toys that are dangling around. He can't reach for them and hold his balance yet but he is definitely trying. He's a curious little guy so the sounds have his face and eyes lighting up each time he hears them. He really enjoys his mat. We enjoy it also. It's lightweight and can be packed up to take along with you on trips to see family. Definitely a great buy for a child in this stage of development.

This activity gym is tons of fun for a baby. Not only does the mat itself play music and keep the baby entertained, but the toys that hang are low enough for baby to reach too! I've had other mats where the toys are so high the baby can't even reach them. The mat is very easy to set up and take apart. The mat itself cleans easily as well.

My daughter loved this toy. She is doing alot of tummy time so she loves all the toys. She loves the music also it keeps her entertained.

The Fisher-Price baby bandstand play gym will be your smartest purchase ever. The gym will be perfect for your newborn since it has dangling toys which he can play with and also at the same time he can enjoy some music. When he's ready for tummy time he can play with the toys or with very little effort start the music by hitting the mat encouraging movement! My favorite part is that the mat can easily be washer and cleaned for lots of fun to come. The material seems very durable and soft. As a parent I want to make purchases that will last my baby a very long time and Fisher price always does that. They create products that will save you money at the same time because the play gym will keep your baby entertained till he's a toddler. Also I love knowing that something so fun and colorful will help my baby's developing senses. Overall I give this product 5 stars for its beautiful colors, entertaining music and toys, and durability !

Loved it, only thing id say is maybe some lights on the mat where the instruments are? So baby can tell the difference. Overall i liked it and my son enjoyed it too.

I was already impressed just by taking it out of the box, the colors are great and bright and the pictures are very cute. The attached boom box is great a I love that you can set it for 30 minutes. My granddaughter loves the different music sounds from the instruments and is already trying to touch them herself. I really like that the linkable toys make sounds which is like a little reward when she reaches for them. Very easy to clean since it's machine washable once you remove speakers. The part I like the most is that it's more then just a newborn play mat and she will be able to play and make music as she gets older.

This floor gym is fun! As soon as I took the Bandstand Play Gym out of the box my kids were excited. I originally expected my infant to be the primary user of this toy but my 2 year old was even more interested. The material is softer than a lot of the play gyms I've seen before. The toys that attach are also fun! There are different sizes and weights to them making them great from a very young age. The music is fun and was an instant dance party for my kids. The light fabric is going to be difficult for cleaning, especially since my toddler loves to play with the floor gym as much as my infant. The music sensors are attached with velcro making it easy to remove for cleaning. The biggest downside is the weight of the speakers, making opening and laying the floor gym down and flat with one hand slightly difficult. Overall it is very fun and holds a kids attention for a while. I definitely recommend this toy!

I recieved this product as a product review. My little boy loved this. He is on the belly stage and hits everything within arms reach. He figured out the circles made noise and we had ourselves a young musician. He loves the colors and the toys that dangled. The only thing that was bothering us, and really it's no big deal, is when the two bars are clicked in the corners of the blanket lift up. I don't know if that will go away over time. Overall, he likes it and it's versatile because when we go out I just grab the blanket portion for him to lay on and play. He is enjoying it a lot.

This bandstand play gym is amazing.My son absolutely loves it and play with it for hours.It is nice how it responds to the babies kicks and bats!The speaker on the playgym is a decent sound ( not to loud and not to soft) so it keeps the baby occupied for a while.The toys all do something different such as rattles,clacks,and jingles.My son is currently teething so something that I really loved about this is that when he was playing with the play gym,the music note is a teether so while he was playing,he also had a teether to chew on.I love this playgym and recommend it to all babies and especially those teething!

Baby's Bandstand Play Gym is so adorable. The colors are bright, and cheery. I love that it is gender neutral. It is perfect for baby to lay on his back and play with the detachable toys, or roll around and do tummy time, all while playing and making music. It's very easy to remove the arches if baby is a sitter. My baby loves to play with this no matter how I place him. He enjoys just kicking around and touching everything and making music. The boom box speaker also comes of so you can easily wash it. Everything about this mat is great!

I have a 7 month old baby boy. Hes been so cranky due to teething, so keeping him quiet or distracted has been a challange. When my husband started putting this gym together, it was a little confusing. But got it assembled pretty easily. It has very bright colors that keeps my little ones attention. There are a lot of reasons that I like this play gym. I am very into music and want to make sure I expose my babies to as much of it as possible. This play may is an excellent way to begin to introduce music to them, One of the things I like the most about this mat is that it is smaller than a lot of the others out there. As someone who lives in a townhouse with a limited amount of space, I enjoy the smaller frame because it doesn't take up a lot of space. Yet it still offers enough play area for baby to be occupied. It is easy to assemble the gym (although it was a bit difficult to get it out of the packaging). The colors are bright and the images are quite fun and the mat portion is soft and comfortable for baby to lay on. I like that it has two volume settings and two different play settings. The louder setting might be a bit loud for the littlest ears, but the older kids will enjoy it. A huge plus is that the music is very tolerable for mom and dad to listen to. Even when you listen to it over and over again, it isn't really all that bad. My daughter enjoyed playing with the sound portion. You could see her little wheels spinning as she listened to the different sounds and realized that her touch is what was causing the sounds to start. My son preferred the longer play music and grasping at the hanging toys. I have a two month old nephew who also really seemed to enjoy the play mat. He isn't quite grasping things yet, but enjoyed looking at the toys and batting at them. I had it set to the long play music for him. Speaking of the toys, it is nice that they can be attached or removed. My daughter really enjoyed the maraca rattle and keeps playing with it now that it is detached from the gym. It is easy to transport and also easy to store when not in use. It can easily be taken with you when going somewhere with the babies. It is nice to have something that can be used for a variety of things be so portable. The one downside is that it isn't quite as sturdy as other play gyms. It was easier to knock over, so you really need to watch, especially if older children are using it. Or just take off the upper bar and leave just the mat with the attached toys taken off. Overall, this is a great play mat that I highly recommend.

My baby girl has really enjoyed the Bandstand Play Gym. The mat is gender neutral and has cute animals and instruments on it. My daughter loves to touch the three circles that play music. The three circles are pictures of a trumpet, a drum, and a guitar. The hanging toys are also instruments and my daughter plays with them detached from the mat because she is at the sitting age and I don't use the arches. I also bring the hanging toys with me when I go out because she really likes to play with them. I think the mat is unique and I recommend it to anyone with a small baby to an older sitting baby.

This is so much fun for my son. No matter which way he moves there is something that sparks his interest. When he looks up there is the mirror for him to look at himself. When he rolls around wether it is voluntary or not he is liking what's happening. This is making him want to replicate that movement. The sound of the music the characters on the fabric, as well as the colors on the fabric definetly keeps his attention. The toys that dangle he loves to reach out and touch hem. They are so eye catching to him. The fabric is soft and the one thing he loves is soft so the fabric on this is awesome for touching. This is a great gym for development. Sensory skills are helped to develop with this toy.

my daughter enjoys playing with this toy. the sound of the music makes her giggle and keeps her entertained for a good while. helps make tummy time more enjoyable. it is easy to assemble and the arches can be removed for when your child is able to sit on its own.

We love this playmat. The songs are engaging and she loves to play and make music. I wish the mat was larger in size for more play. This would allow the arches to be higher and more space between the mat and the arches for her to sit up while playing. I thought it would be more padded as we have hardwoods throughout our home. But overall she is engaged and feels accomplished while making music.

We have enjoyed this product. The design is simple yet colorful. My little one enjoys the various linkable toys and enjoys the music. I love the fact that the mat is machine washable. I wish the images of the musical instruments on the mat were three dimensional to be stand out from the other images on the mat but not a big issue. Other than that, this is a great, fun and engaging product. I recommend this product.

First I have to say this has been a GREAT product to use! My child is in love with it! The product holds her interest for HOURS at a time and lets me do little odds and ends in the same room! The product is Very easy to set up and easy clean up! I can see my child giving it to her kids in the future. When it is all said and done I would say this is a MUST have product for you child.

Hi there, i would like ro recommend every mom and dad to buy this product. Its amazing my daughter loves it; she like to lay down and press the buttons that have sound such as the trumpet, the guitar, and drums. She even gets up to dance to the music. I've even invited a friend over to try it for her baby. Well she loved it, and now she went to buy one for her daughter. My other tqo daughters like to play with it even though they are a little big for it but they love to play with their lottle sister. I would totally recommend it to anyone

Super cute product and would be great for tummy time! There is a sensor under the mat to detect movement. Also hanging toys are musical instruments and super cute (daughter loved the tambourine!) Losing a half star due to the cheaply made mirror (seamed like an after thought which is sad as babies love looking at themselves in mirrors)! And a half star due to frustration in getting the product out of the package! Daughter was fussing the entire time as she wanted to play with it and it took FOREVER to get it out!

I am very skeptical of Play Gyms or Play Mats just because I have not had very good luck with them in the past. Normally, after about 5 minutes of baby playing on it, the tubes would be popping out of the holders and it would all just be lying on the floor. Luckily, this one is a bit different than the others that we have tried. The tubes/legs on it snap onto a loop underneath the mat so it is very secure. If you have a very active baby, then this is something that you definitely will love! Set up is very easy, you just attach everything to the loops and Velcro. It comes with a little mirror and 4 music related toys (maraca, tambourine, trumpet and music note) to hang onto the tubes for extra activity. The boombox plays music when your baby touches the three instruments on the mat. It's a very interactive mat and it has different modes as well. Lay, Play and Listen mode plays 30 minutes of music while your baby plays. Tummy Time Rocks mode encourages your baby to touch the 3 instruments on the mat and rewards them with fun sounds. and the last mode is Sit and Jam, which you can remove the arches (or tubes) so your baby can sit up and play. If your baby presses the same instrument twice in a row, then the song will grow longer. It's a very cute, fun, entertaining and interactive mat for your little ones. It's also machine washable, which is a definite plus! This is definitely one of the better play mats that I have encountered and I recommend it if your little one loves music and bright, fun colors. It will definitely keep them entertained!

I really liked this play mat, it actually kept my son's attention really well! The only thing I didn't like is that the speaker clips on, it's not really a big deal but my son kept reaching to pull it off. Other than that I loved it, it was SO simple to set up! It's good padded material so it was comfy for baby, also the bright colors and included toys were really nice looking and gave my son something to look at and play with all over. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this product to a friend!

There was so much I enjoyed about the play gym. I liked the fun colors and he loved the mirror. I really liked that the gym was for not only for playing on his back but also he could have some fun tummy time. The one thing that impressed me the most is that the play gym will grow with him and he can use it for longer than just a few short months. I look for toys that can grow with a child and this is definitely one of them.

This gym is a ton of fun for the little one. I love that I can remove the arch for the baby to sit up and kick around. Most gyms that I have owned only work for tummy time or laying on their backs. It has a boom box that plays music when you touch the 3 instruments on the floor. It's very colorful so it keeps the baby interested! I really like that it has toys hanging down including a teether so the baby has lots of options. My only problems is that they hang a little bit low so it works better for smaller babies. Other than that, i really like it! It's very easy to detach the speaker and throw it in the wash.

Definitely recommend getting this toy. My baby loves playing with the instrument loves the music that plays. It is very comfortable for my little guy to lay on and the hanging instrument capture his attention well. Also light weight so you can take it anywhere. I would recommend it for all the moms

My 6mo and my 3yo love this! It has been the most popular toy in the house since I opened the box! The music isn't annoying or the stick in your head kind. We are not using the "arms" as my 3yo likes to see if he can sit on them and my 6mo is a champion sitter. They crack up when they make a new song. I just wish the mat was a little bit larger.

This musical play mat is different from all the other play mats I've owned. Even after baby is mobile, rolling or crawling, they still will play with it. The size is right. There is room for my daughter to lay on it and roll around a bit, even though she's long. The contrast and primary colors are bright and cheery, and keep my daughters attention. My favorite part of the mat is the music though. After 3 kids, I've had my fair share of noisy toys and this is one of my favorites. Not only does it have volume control (soft and loud), it has two settings (constant music and activated by touch), and most importantly, the music is pleasant to listen to! I'm very sensitive to noise and have no desire to keep this mat quiet. We will get a lot of use out of this play mat.

Picking a playmat is about personal preference with the sounds etc. It is a smaller mat compared to others I have had in the past, but the sounds played when the baby smacks the pad make it fun. The hanging toys that come with it are sufficient, hang low enough for baby to swat at them once they can. Like the 30 min continuous play of music.

My daughter is a month old, and we have tried the play mats before but she hadn't shown any interest at all in them. She really seemed more interested in this one. There were a lot of toys and sounds that made it easy for me to keep her on her belly without crying. It came with several toys and songs that she honestly seemed to jam too. I was very excited to see the colorful toys and mat. I knew that my son would thoroughly enjoy it! The gym set-up quickly and easily, and kept my son engaged. His older sister (3 years old) also had a fun time playing with it, with him. That's the proof that it will grow-with-them.

My little nephew loved the Baby's Bandstand Play Gym! The colors, sounds and toys kept him busy. He's all about the belly time so he spent a good bit of time playing music for us. I really liked a lot of things about this mat. First, it was super easy to set up. I literally took it out of the box, or up the bars, and hung the toys up. Secondly, my son and niece loved it! My niece is only 6 months old and she loved batting at the toys and would hit the buttons on the mat during tummy time. My son is almost 2 and loved it too! He sat on the mat and lived pushing the buttons and making music. He even played with the tambourine toy. However, I have two issues with the mat. First, it is a little small. My niece is not on the large size and she seemed a little to long for it. Secondly, white is the worst color when it comes to babies. I had it out if the box for an hour before something was spilled on it. Yes, it's machine washable but it still shows everything.

Both my daughters love this toy even tho one is 3 yrs old, the cat even likes stepping on the music buttons. They love the detachable instruments too.

The Baby's Bandstand Play Gym has a simple, yet very fun, concept! Music that grows with the baby! The play gym mat is very simple to put together and comes with 4 adorable musical dangle toys, a 'boom box' speaker, and a mirror so that the baby can look at himself (which my son LOVES to do at 3 months old!). The 'boom box' attaches to the mat via velcro underneath which activates the sounds when pushed on the mat. It makes taking off to wash a breeze, and everyone knows the newborn stage can get messy and you need to do often! The musical instruments/songs are lovely and easy to activate for a baby by simply pushing the instrument on the mat. There is a long mode (30 minutes of music) and a short mode for the music/sounds and two volume settings. This product can be used while baby is laying on his back to look at the toys, tummy time, and you can also take off the arches so that toddlers can play! My 21 month old triplets also love this product and composing music is simple for them to do! All in all, a great product that doesn't need all the bells and whistles to enjoy, and encourages learning and growth through music!
