Great car seat
April 30, 2012
My daughter is very comfortable in this seat, even on long trips. Straps are very easy to tighten, a bit more difficult at times to loosen, but I seem to be getting the hang of it with some practice. A friend who had done a ton of research recommended this seat to me as highly recommended by Consumer Reports. We have been using it for a couple of months now and are really appreciating it.
Pros
  • Safety rating, comfort, appearance.
Cons
  • It is a bit large; that is the only drawback I have noticed.

Good car seat for a great price
April 2, 2012
I purchased this seat for my 9 month old who was getting too heavy for the infant carrier seat. It was easy to install (according to my husband), straps are easy to adjust, and my daughter seems comfortable in it. We got a second one for my mother-in-law's car. You can't beat the price.

Comfty Car Seat

Love this car seat! It feels very comfortable and is durable. My 3-year-old has one and it is so easy to clean so I had to purchase one for my 2-year-old. It's a little heavy, but gives me confidence that it will protect in an emergency.
Pros
  • I love the padding and the recline option (makes traveling more comfortable for little ones).
Cons
  • It's a little heavy to move around.

Good car seat, if you have plenty of room.
February 13, 2012
I bought this for my 9 month old daughter. She's about 24 lbs. and fits wonderfully, with plenty of room to grow. It seems comfortable; she falls asleep and stays asleep pretty much every time she rides in it.As for the cons, it wasn't the easiest to install. Also, it's huge. In my Jeep Grand Cherokee, my other two children are a little cramped, but not too badly . In my wife's Chevy Cobalt, however, the back seat is very cramped. Even still, I would buy this again, I feel it is a very safe, comfortable option.

Evenflo Triumph, a great carseat!

Love this car seat... have two! It reclines on the go with a pull of the red handle. The only negative I can think of is that it's wide. We cannot fit three car seats across in our SUV with two of these.
Pros
  • comfortable, reclines, sturdy, safe
Cons
  • big

I'm satisfied
January 19, 2012
I purchased this evenflo convertible car seat after HOURS of online research comparing the top rated brands. I needed to find a top rated safe car seat that would fit within the "budget" class....meaning I did not want to pay more than $200 for it. After comparing a few different online stores I found that Albee Baby was selling the item on sale for a GREAT PRICE. Installing the seat was not hard...it just takes me a few minutes to fit the seat belt thru the slots to secure the seat (my car does not have LATCH). It fit in my back seat well, I have it behind the drivers side. I initially tried the middle back seat but it didn't seem to fit well so I had to change it. My daughter rode comfortably in this seat during a 10 hour car trip. The cushions are fairly plush. I like the knobs to tighten the straps as well as the button to loosen the straps. I haven't had a need to use the cup holder yet but honestly it doesn't look sturdy. I won't be surprised it if breaks. That is why I give this item 4, not 5 stars. The cup holder has to be attached and I haven't done that yet.

We needed a second car seat for our babysitter and this was a great buy. Seat was easy to install, easy to use and child feels very secure when in the seat. I would definitely purchase again

Evenflo Triumph Advance LX review
January 11, 2012
I love this car seat! Even though I saw reviews stating that this seat was a the big side, I must disagree. I drive a Toyota Yaris 4-door and have this seat, a 7 year old in a booster plus a 9 year old all in the back without issues. I also really like that I don't have to struggle to adjust the straps.

Feel safe....
January 6, 2012
We bought this for our 8 month old daughter after much research. This carseat is one of the best safety ratings i could find. It is very large, which makes it difficult to fit inour car when my husband drives (he is 6ft and needs the seat pushed back). Other than this we r happy with the purchase. I feel safe and secure driving my baby around in this seat. The adjustable straps make life easier when she has to wear her bulky winter jacket. Happy with the purchse.
Pros
  • Safety
  • Easily adjustable straps
Cons
  • Very large

We purchased this for my husband's car and Cosco for my car. I so wish I'd just ordered this seat for both - I'm so jealous! Easy to install, easy to use and our daughter is very comfortable in it. Great seat!

My baby loves it!

And so do I. After a long research on safety seats, we realized that the evenflo triumph is one of the best. I loved this pattern, although it's a bit unconventional, and the price is the best I found.
Pros
  • looks convinient and safe.
Cons
  • It's a bit too big

I really like this car seat. We have purchased several of the same one for grandparents, my husband, and myself. The only drawback is that the straps are a textured fabric and I have a difficult time sliding the buckle up to armpit height like it is supposed to be.
Pros
  • Love the wheel to tighten and loosen the straps. Love the soft fabric. Like that it is a convertable and can be used rear and forward facing
Cons
  • Hard to move buckle up and down on straps. Sometimes the release doesn't activate and I have to try it 2-3 times before it will loosen.

Evenflo Triumph Advance LX Convertible Car Seat Bouquet
December 19, 2011
This is the second Evenflo carseat my husband and I purchased. We actually first bought a Graco, but just didn't like it as much as the Evenflo- we love the knobs on the sides that you just turn to adjust the straps! It is very easy to put our daughter in this seat and take her out. She sleeps in it every time!!!
Pros
  • The knobs on the sides you can turn to adjust the straps. How wide and roomy the seat is for our daughter.
Cons
  • The knobs can at times get a little stiff- where you have to really push to release it!

I got this for my 9 month old daughter who was getting too big for her infant carrier. I searched everywhere for a safe and comfortable convertible carseat that was for a good price. I came across this one and read all the good reviews. So I decided to purchase it. So far its been great!
Pros
  • Its soft and comfortable. Machine washable. Easy to install. Not hard to adjust straps.
Cons
  • Its a little bulky but it fits in my Kia Sportage.
