Our favorite convertible seat
We have now bought 5 Dionos -- 3 for our children and 2 for friends. Every child who has transitioned from a cheap car seat into a Diono has gone from crying at every ride to sitting peacefully. We would hate to be uncomfortable in the car, and so do our kids! Do yourself and the babies a favor by starting out with Dionos. :)

Love Love Love
We have the Radian and RXT (only difference I find is the side head rests). This car seat is solid, the cover is very easy to remove and clean (as kids are messy), they are narrow for passengers to sit beside comfortably, and I love that my child can sit backwards for longer (safest position). I work in the emergency services and it brings me comfort that my child is in a full metal frame and is safe.

Have bought 2, buying a 3rd
I bought one for my two year old, and I bought a second later for my one year old. I love them. Only con is that it is heavy, but that's just part of the deal for something safe. Both my children love sitting in it more than the other seat I had, we have no fight about these seats. Perfect seat and fits three across in my 2011 VW sportwagon.

Good carseat
We have been using this for a few weeks now. I think installation was easy (I did latch by myself). I wasn't able to find a rear facing tether, so am hoping that the carseat is secure enough in my BMW 328i. Carseat fits well, and it is not as bad for the front seat passenger, as some people mention reviewing this carseat, as we are not even using a wedge. Quite opposite, I like the recline and that my toddler can be relatively comfortable in it after his infant carseat. My toddler can look out and it is a big plus as he is not as bored as in other carseats.
ProsFits well in the vehicle, provides good recline in rear-facing position
ConsRear tether not available in all vehicles

LOVE this seat
We've got this seat for our oldest and absolutely love it so it was no question that we wanted another one but I had a hard time finding it. Albeebaby made my whole day when it came back in stock and we got one.

Great seat
We already had an rxt so were very familiar with the seat. For slim seats and safety it doesn't get any better. We decided to get this instead of the rxt because we really don't need the head flaps, they just block the kids view and I think my older one might need more shoulder room soon. Plus it's cheaper, win win.

3rd diono & love it
This is my 3rd diono & I absolutely love this brand. This is my first purchase on this website & I purchased my previous 2 dionos (which are still being used by eldest two) at another store but the price on this website was unbeatable. Quick arrival & also a quick response from customer service with a question I had (unrelated to any issues). Great experience & I will return to this site for future purchases.

Fits three across
I love this car seat, my daughter can get in and out of it very easily. It is nice and slim yet gives enough room to grow. I like how sturdy and secure this seat is in my 2014 GMC Terrain. I have the RXT, R120 and a chicco infant that fits so I do not have to compromise trunk space with another baby arriving in 3 weeks (the 2 Diono seats are forward facing for a 5 &3 year old). I have nothing but good things to say so far, and I have had the car seats for two weeks.
ConsNone so far!

It's great once it's setup
The seat came in several parts and had to be put together. I had to read the instructions again and again because it certainly wasn't clear where things like the cup holders fit. I have twins so I had to put two of these together. Once they are in the car and installed they are awesome. Mine are both forward facing. My two year olds can climb right in. That's a huge advantage over my old car seat -recaro proride. Plus the seats fit side by side. The only small downside is when you adjust the seatbelt it's a ratcheting lever so it takes longer to get the seat belt tight around your kid. (I'm talking about the 5 point harness, not the car seat belts.)
ProsLow profile so kids can climb in and out once they are unbuckled.
ConsSeats sit very straight up and there isnt a good place for toddlers to rest their heads. I don't like how Diono provides extra straps that aren't built into the car seat. I had to switch out one of the straps due to my kids weight according to the instructions and now I have to hope I don't misplace the other strap until it's time to switch it back out. Also the ratcheting lever for the seatbelts. This could be faster and more efficient by using a different lever. The chest clip is huge. It makes it hard to gauge if the clip is at armpit level. If we were actually in an accident my kids face would surely hit the chest clip. There's no way to avoid it because it is so oversized. Their is velcro padding on the straps surrounding the chest clips. My kids have figured out within the first week how to undo the Velcro. Lastly the sides of the seat can open wider as your child gets bigger. However my two year olds are able to adjust it because it takes such little force to adjust. I wish it had a more secure way to adjust the seat width.
Best UsesWhen you need to fit three car seats across the backseat.

Great quality
Purchased this car seat for my 18 month old son. Quality of car seat is impeccable. Extremely narrow but still spacious inside. I will defiantly use this as a booster as well. Very happy with my purchase from Albee they had the best price around!
Best UsesGreat for parents of multiple children. The slim design leaves more room for accessing seat belts.

Excellent car seat
Very slim design so doesn't take up too much space and my little one can see out of the sides of the seat. Very sturdy and comfortable - she sleeps easily in it when we are on long car rides.

Must Buy!
I bought this for my first son when he was about 10 months old. It is heavy, but so sturdy and narrow, while not sacrificing comfort. He's used it rear facing, forward facing, and we've flown with it several times. It fits down the aisle of the plane!!! I bought a cart to roll it on with him strapped in like a stroller right down the aisle (Britax car seat travel cart- you snap it on with LATCH) so he and I have flown by ourselves over 10 times with ease! I will be buying another for my youngest son when he outgrows the infant seat without hesitation. LOVE this seat!

I am a carseat snob
These are sturdy and will keep my children safe. But so will a cosco. we chose these because we needed 3 across in our Subaru Impreza. The materials are high quality. BUT... They're complicated! the manual alone was overwhelming (40+ pages and that's only one language). The buckle that comes up between the legs is way too short - my boys are always squished and getting pinched, which makes putting them in the seat very tricky. The shoulder strap padding is constantly coming off and is bulky. Also... I'm a carseat snob. I don't love any of the car seats we've tried (we have 7). They're all cumbersome, frustrating, hard to clean and annoying to install. This one was particularly complicated.

Radian 120 and 100
We have a radian 120 in our babys main transporting vehicle and a radian 100 in other vehicle. Cushioning is great, instruction videos are easy to follow, the straps adjusted easily on both models and feel well made. It is heavy but when considering construction and safety reviews it is justified. In some ways the option to fold down and carry (airtravel, etc) is awesome BUT remember it's a Beast. It has tuck holes in back construction to 'hide' excess straps which is nice with rear facing. They both have the front tether system for rear facing. The one improvement I would suggest, is on the seat belt tracking area it is opened towards the back. So when trying to feed through belt while carseat is rear facing the seat belt tends to fall in that notch. My husband and I are both rather tall and have larger hands. Needless to say it was probably more difficult for us then average adult. So slap a thin piece of plastic to cover notch as a 'guide' for the seat belt and I'd be happy as a clam. Overall we love the radians and if more babies are ever added to our family we will be buying more.

Worth the money for us
We purchased our first Radian for our 3 year old. We needed to fit three car seats in a row 1-2x/week. But after assembling it, we loved the memory foam and realized that our 22 mo old's carseat had zero padding. So we decided to use it for her instead, and we purchased the angle adjuster since she's still rear facing and will be dor awhile. So then because our aim was to have slim carseats, we ordered the second one for the 3 year old again. They are slim, but because the seat that I need to install in the middle 1-2x/week is not a slim Diono, I have to install both of these with the seat belts instead of LATCH, to give a bit more room in the middle. The LATCH connectors are super nice though. Sometimes my 3 yr old wants "sides" on her seat, but that's what we gave up for wanting slim seats. One con is the cup holder. It's cool that there are 4 different spots to put it, but it's too easy for both of my kids to take it out (and tricky to get back in). So we can't use them until the kids stop playing with them. And the con about it being heavy is how it goes with a sturdy, steel frame.

Comfortable seat for my toddler.
We bought this seat for our 9 mo old at the time. My 3 year old requested the new seat and has been using it ever since. It's a comfortable ride for him and the adjustable cup holders are nice too!

Love it for the safety
I love it because of it's safety ratings. With that frame, there's little doubt in my mind that this is one of the safest car seats available and at a very good price. It is heavy. We tried moving it between cars rather than buying an additional car seat, but decided ultimately that we needed the second one. Installing looked way trickier than it actually was. I would like for it to anchor when rear-facing, but we don't have the anchors. We also bought this because our little bean outgrew his infant seat at 10 months (he's tall) and I'm a huge fan of the extended rear facing height and weight limits. We chose this over the clek models because of pricing. He'll be in this car seat until he outgrows it as a high back booster, and I love that it has such a long expiration date, so even my little guy is done with it, it may still be useful for any siblings or cousins for a couple of years. I'm not sure it's possible to make a product as durable and safe as this light and easy to install. Overall I love it, but only give 4 stars due to difficulty moving it car to car.

Love it so far!
I've always bought britax for my kids. I really liked the high safety ratings from consumer reports, but I don't like buying an infant seat, convertible seat and finally a booster seat. It's very costly to buy several seats, and I have 4 kids in seats. I was sold on the R120's high ratings and 10 year life. It was super easy to install in my 2014 Honda Odyssey. It fits perfectly on the tiny middle row seat. Installation was actually a breeze, I was kinda surprised. I'm eventually going to buy another one of these for my britax marathon that expires in November. I bought this for my 1 year old who is still rear facing.
ProsEasy install
ConsKinda heavy, but not too bad.

Perfect choice for travelers!
I researched for weeks before purchasing the Diono Radian R120 for my oldest daughter in early 2013. It was the top of the line in safety then and still is now in mid-2015 so I have purchased a second for my second daughter. The seat folds up to allow for slimmer transporting, is Airline approved, higher backed to allow for longer rear-facing (proven to be the safest position for children!) and it's slim enough to allow 3 Radians to be used side by side in a backseat. I highly recommend this seat! (Also purchased the first from Albee Baby and received very quick free shipping.)
ProsHigh back for extended rear facing, fold up seat for travel, airline approved, steel core
Best UsesExtended Rear-facing, air travel, multiple children

Narrow Carseat
Carseat is great for caravans since it only takes up 1 seat. It is heavy but folds easy and has a strap which helps if you need to carry it. I'd say the only setback is the foam insert you have to buy. The foam helps elevate the seat so that you don't crowd the seat in front. Seat is narrow and long. Anyhow they should just add the foam insert and not charge extra. Other than that so far so good.Plus I have tall kids so a seat like this is worth the investment since they will not grow out of it.
