This is the second britax frontier 85 that I have purchased for my son (one in my car and one in my Mother's) and I love it! It is so easy to use and do sharp looking, not to mention super safe. We tried the Graco Nautilus for my mothers car and it was terrible. Too big and bulky yet barely fit my very tall/thin 5 year old. Britax hit it out of the park with this one!

This is the third one of these we've bought, first for the youngest son though. Both kids love them and they've held up well so far.

My son is very tall and had been put into a booster at 3 because he was to big for the car seats we had. He is 4.5 and would fall asleep in the booster and end up laying across my back seat. I found out about this seat on cafemom.com and ordered it quickly. I let him pick out the color and he loves it. He has an 18' torso so it's the only seat I have heard of that harnesses past 18'. I am very happy with my purchases and feel that my son is so much safer now if god forbid we get into a crash.

This car seat is our upgrade to the Britax Boulevard we purchased from Albee Baby a couple of years ago ( that was also a great seat that served us well when our daughter was a baby), and I must say that the Britax Frontier 85 Car Seat has been a great investment since we started using it. Our daughter is quite tall for her age, and I knew she wasn't ready for a REAL booster seat, so we went ahead and took the chance of buying her this car seat. I was apprehensive of buying it; I thought it would be a bit too large for her (she's not only tall but she's petite/thin). But fortunately, the size is just right because it allows for us to adjust the seat and eventually convert it to a booster once she grows out of the 5 point harness straps, which is a plus! I love the fact that it's very easy to install and it's a very secure in its spot of the vehicle. I've heard read a few complaints about the weight of a few Britax car seats, but I believe it was intentionally made like that for safety. Personally, I have no complaints, I am very satisfied with the Britax products we have purchased, and so is my little girl.

I have a red one and a blue one. Both my kids love their chairs. (5 and 3 yrs old)

We upgraded our Graco nautilus that was a few years old to this carseat. My son, who is 6 years old and on the smaller side at 38lbs 42" says this this carseat is a lot more comfortable. It took some getting used to having the cupholders so low but in the end I think it's a better design. Installation is simple, once you realize you can not put your hand through the back the traditional way. Very secure, trendy and excellent safety reviews. We've since purchased a second one for our 3 year old.

We bought this seat for my 4 year old to replace his convertible car seat after a car accident. Though it took a while to install in my 2010 Ford Fusion, I was able to get a very good install. The seat is solid and comfortable, as well as easy to adjust for larger or smaller children. I love that the seat is so highly rated and recommended, and my son loves that he was able to choose his favorite color.
