The special ergonomic disc can help to mitigate the risk of plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and promotes heat dissipation from the nape of the neck which assists in proper thermoregulation of your baby. The Welcome Pod is extremely ergonomic and favors lying on the back for proper alignment of the spine.
