The plastic is certified safe for foods and complies with the safety standards for plastics both in Europe (EEC) and the USA (FDA). This product is PVC-free and contains no bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates, cadmium, lead, bromine or chlorine. Moreover, the plastic is recyclable.
Product care
Spoon is microwave-safe at low heat, max 195°F/90°C. The spoon is dishwasher-safe. However, avoid placing it near the heating coil.
Can be held in either the right or left hand
The BABYBJÖRN Spoon works in either hand, right or left. This is important, as children up until about the age of three readily switch hands.
