Tariff-Driven Price Increases – Here’s What We Know & What It Means for Baby Gear

With the tariffs that have recently been put in place on imported goods, buying the gear you wanted for your family may feel intimidating. We know this kind of news can cause a bit of stress, especially when it comes to family planning and budgeting.
The helpful news? For over 90 years, Albee Baby has proudly served families by offering trusted, high-quality baby gear at the best price possible. And while these times are unprecedented, we are committed to being a transparent and reliable source of information and savings for our customers.
This blog is to help outline dates of price increases and what brands and product lines are affected, to help you navigate the road ahead. We’ll update this blog as more information comes in, so you are aware of what gear will be increasing in price (or potentially decreasing, if trade deals are made).
So, What’s Going On?
To sum it up briefly, tariffs are being implemented and/or increased, which is impacting the cost of goods from many countries. For brands that manufacture their products overseas, or even brands that manufacture products domestically but import materials, these costs require an increase in prices (and possibly some supply chain issues).
How to Prepare
Thankfully, quite a few baby brands are giving consumers time to buy their products before the prices on these products increase. Some brands have already implemented their price increases, but don’t panic - we are going to break it all down for you!

- Doona: Effective as of April 22, 2025
