We absolutely love this new seat. It is great quality. Solid structure. Easy to install. And is very comfortable for our daughter. We purchased this one and another brand, this one was by far the best decision!!!

Great booster for the Model Y

Our toddler constantly complained that his older car seat was too hot, tight and restrictive for long car rides. It became clear he was outgrowing it. We tested several booster seat models and were attracted to the Alta due to its rigid LATCH connector. The seatbelt-style connector used for our car seat permitted a bit too much wiggle; the LATCH keeps the seat firmly in place. In our Model Y, the seatbelt is a bit recessed into the seat and, while it initially seemed difficult to use, it has been quite effective and is no longer hard to locate or use. We've taken several long road trips with great results, a happier kid, in safety and style.

There are a lot of pros to the seat but the way it sits in my car it makes it difficult to reach/buckle the belt which is frustrating on a daily basis. My kid says it is comfortable and otherwise enjoys it.

My daughter loves how comfortable it is. It was easy to put together and install. We had originally installed it in the third row of our SUV (Hyundai Palisade) and the booster seat reaches the very edge of the seat. Per the manual, no overhang of the booster seat is allowed. If you have shallow seats this one might not work with your vehicle.

  • The latch system makes it so you cannot adjust the seat left to right and it may be too close to the seatbelt too difficult for the child to buckle it themselves.

We love the car seat, but like every family when we go on road trips it’s tough to find a seat that is conducive for them to rest their head without slouching. Most car seats don’t solve this problem, but still is a major need that I think most parents would agree with.

My 6 year old LOVES this seat! its very comfortable and he specifically picked the bright teal color and honestly its even more amazing in person! assembly qas quick and easy. We have been using it about a month now and have had to move it between cars for the time being and its really light and not terribly awkward to move. I would definitely recommend this. It just feels so nice and looks amazing! My son is also very happy with it! My one and only complaint is the location of the cup holder. it occasionally snags the seat belt and is kind of a pain. we have to swap the side it is on depending on what car the seat is in but honestly i feel like i shouldn't have to do that at this price point. but that is literally my only complaint and its really just me being nit picky

  • honestly this fits best in my sedan over my husbands jeep but this is the only booster we have so i don't have anything to compare it to so that might just be how all boosters are.
