This is our go to diaper pail. I purchased one for each of my grandchildren's rooms and then bought this one for my own home. It has a sleek, elegant look for a diaper pail. It is well made. It does an excellent job at containing odors; and it is easy to empty. I do use the Ubbi bags but that is not necessary which is nice if you run out of them.

Perfect size and love that it has the lock feature. This is the true stainless steel (chrome) version in case you are wondering by the description which says “silver”.

This diaper pail is well built and keeps the smell locked in. I use the usual trash bag that gets emptied out on a weekly basis.
The diaper pail needs only one hand for opening and closing it. Even my wife hasn't had any issues with opening and closing it with one hand (she has smaller hands).

This diaper pail is great, it totally keeps in the smell and I love that it can fit any type of trash bag. My previous pail had special bags and it was an added frustration. This looks great in my daughter's room too!

With our first baby we had one of the plastic diaper Paul’s that requires the special bags. The quality was very poor, would often need to have my husband fix it for me.
I was also tired of keeping up with having enough special bags. We decided on this because we did not want another plastic one and loves that you can use regular bags. So far so good. The quality is great. It’s much better looking , and just using a regular trash bag is very convenient .

I just had a baby and this has been a life saver! I put in one of those scented baking power drops at the bottom so it really helps with smell. Overall I would 100 percent recommend for nursery room!

Terrific diaper pail, built from solid steel (most are usually plastic,) and the perfect size. Small foot print but tall enough to hold plenty of diapers. The best part is it can use any standard kitchen trash bag. Sliding door works with ease to lock in odors.

This does its job! The smells that come out of the trash can when I open the lid tells me it’s doing a great job because it is trapped in there.

We bought this product in white and I highly recommend it. It is solidly built, keeps the smell well contained, and easy to use. And we are happy we have this over other brands with special garbage bags. We will get a second one when we setup our second changing station in our home.

We really appreciate the look and feel of this diaper pail. We really appreciate the lock mechanism because it is really simple but not simple enough for the pups to figure out and open the little door. Diapers and smells remain in the pail. Smells might waft out when we open the door to dispose of a diaper but it is not a breaker for us. We purchased two reusable cloth liners which we wash with the rest of the laundry so that we do not add plastic bags to the pile of disposable diapers we are putting out into the landfills.

The Ubbi does exactly what it's advertised to do- keeps diaper smells from leaking out of the bin. It'd be nice if the pail could be opened hands free but I don't think it'd seal as well. It's a little on the pricey side but you save money since regular trash bags can be used with this.

If a diaper pail can be "pretty" this one definitely is it! LOVE the fact that you can use normal, standard kitchen trash bags, which is not only convenient but saves money as well. No set-up. Easy to use. Definitely a little stinky when changing the bag, I think the metal absorbs a smell but as long as lid is closed you can't smell it. I do plan to get a munchkin baking soda puck to put in the bottom to see if that helps.

I love the fact that you can use any trash bag. No smell comes from the pail. I did put a box of baking soda in the pail to absorb any odors.

Small, and not intrusive in the nursery but big enough to put a week worth of newborn diapers in. Locked the smell out till day 6, and then the old diapers smelled too badly once we opened it at changing time to not empty it! I love that it uses regular house hold garbage bags and can. EJ used for cloth diapering.

I had a diaper genie many years ago and it does not compare to the Ubbi. It locks in odors and is sleak and stylish.

This is the second ubbi I have purchased for our growing family and they both work great. Easy to install the actual bag, easy to clean and keeps the smell completely out. Would highly recommend this product above other diaper pales.

I was hesitant on buying a diaper pail, because I have heard such mixed reviews. The Ubbi Diaper Pail works great though. It doesn't stink, great size, great design, and take regular trash bags. I'm very satisfied.

I've owned 2 other diaper pails before purchasing this one. I'm really happy with it! As with any diaper pail some smell will get out when throwing the diaper away, but this one is super easy to use and once closed keeps the stink in.

I have been using this diaper pail for close to year; 7-8 months into using this, the "smell" started to leak when the lid is closed. And the "teeth" on the lid piece meant to keep that plastic bags in place would tear the bag every time I changed the bags. After washing and airing out the pail several times, the smell would still leak. I had to contact Ubbi's customer service to see what other options they have. In the end, Ubbi decided to replace my pail. Ubbi removed the "teeth" on the lid piece on its newer pails and replaced the jagged surface with a smooth one. I have been using the new pail for a few months now and the smell has not been an issue. I hope the smell does not become an issue a few months down the road.

I was a little hesitant to buy because of the price tag but overall am very happy with this diaper pail. It looks great in the nursery and doesn't "stick out" as an obvious waste can. The quality is great and I'm pleased I don't have to purchase a specific brand for the liner. If you don't like the idea of a trash can in the nursery but want something close by the changing table for dirty diapers this is a great option.

The steel pail so far is better at keeping the stink in the can and the nursery doesn't have as much of the dirty diaper smell as it did when we were using the plastic pail. However since there is nothing between the dirty diapers and the rest of the room when it is opened up, the stink just comes rolling out. Why can't we get the best of both pails in one? A steel pail that also has the turn style diaper dump to keep at least SOME of the stink from leaving the can.
