I personally like how it is a 2 in 1 purchase. Although I am still waiting for baby to arrive so I can try it, I like how easy it switches from swing to bouncer and viceversa. It is soft and confortable. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Is it battery only?

Yes. Note: The batteries are only used for the vibration mode and music. The bouncing or swaying of this will be done by the baby's movement or manually by an adult.
