can the bedding be taken off and washed?

From Summer Infant: The bassinet canopy, bassinet basket and mattress pad is surface wash and air dry. To wash the bassinet skirt you will need to remove the bassinet from frame by removing screws and slip off bassinet skirt ( steps 4 through 8 in reverse). Hand wash in cold water. Do not use bleach. Hang to dry. Use warm iron - low setting, if desired.
