The baby cushion makes the Tripp Trapp chair even for friendly for babies who are just learning to sit / eat and may need some additional support. The fabric is cushy enough to be comfortable for baby, but still washes well and seems relatively stain-resistant. Great addition to your Tripp Trapp High Chair!
