Exactly what I expected when ordering the cushion. Looks great paired with a bright color and seems semi-gender neutral. The fabric isn't particularly soft if that is what your expecting but it suffices.

We love the Stokke chair and baby set, both well made and worth the added expense compared to their competitors. On the other hand, the Tripp Trapp chair cushion is a bit of a disappointment. The cotton fabric seems cheap and (as noted on the Stokke site) is not stain or water resistant. The batting used for the cushioning is fairly thin, so I don't think that it really cushions all that well. Lastly, the instructions for putting on the back-rest part of the cushion was sorely lacking..after some frustration, I ended up going online and finding a youtube movie that demonstrates how to install it. If you are charging premium prices, the consumer expects a superb product.. which this is not. One positive was that it did fit the chair well.

We just bought the chair and the cushions, I have not wash it yet but looks awesome and very comfy.
