I still think it was overall a good purchase, but I was expecting more from this product. It is much convenient to be able to stand for the baby's bath, instead of kneeling, specially if you had a c section. Also, I do appreciate being able to fold it away and place it against the wall. That being said, it is not as small as I first imagined it to be and I could not place it behind the door, for instance. But the one thing that really bothered me was the hose. It does not do a good job draining the water (it always remains quite a bit of water inside the tub) and, to make matters worse, it leaks. It is not a lot, just a couple of drops here and there, but enough to make you put a towell under the stand, which is annoying. And they could include the cup, it seems so silly to be forced to buy that extra.

Good for Knees/Back But Has Design Flaws

The product is a nice frame and fit for the tub, and it definitely helps the back... However, for as expensive as it was, I was hoping for a little more thought to be put into the design. Its ability to collapse flat is short by a few degrees because the latch blocks the lower bars, so you can take locking latch off and flatten completely or leave it on and keep it as is, which not very flat. Additionally, and even more annoying, is the fact that the drain placement is nearly centered on the tub, so when you release the plug, it drains about 90% of the water before the center rises and all the remaining water goes to the sides (not out the drain). So essentially you either have to leave a small amount of dirty soapy water in the tub (gross), push the water around with your hand to try to get it all out, or wrestle the whole apparatus upside down and try not to hurt yourself or soak yourself (very hard to do in a small shower). That being said, it does elevate the tub, so at least I can wash my kid without busting my knees or my back.

When we moved into our apartment, we didn't have the foresight to thin about having a real bath tub, only two showers. Luckily, Stokke had our backs with the tub stand. Our son is turning 1 and we still use it comfortable. Saves my back too.

I love it!! Its a life saver! Everyday my back thanks Stokke for this excelent stand! Sturdy, easy to open and fold (you can do it with one hand, while the other hand is busy holding your baby!) After 10 months, it still looks as new! I highly recomend this product!!

Saving our backs!

We only have standup showers in the house, so this is really helping us out. The baby has gotten too big for sink baths, so were using the Stokke tub and stand in our shower, which works perfectly. The stand puts him at the right height to be easy to reach without bending and keep safe. It’s a simple thing, but works great and feels very sturdy.
