The Tripp Trapp Baby Set is made specifically for the Tripp Trapp from STOKKE. It's made from the environmentally-friendly plastic material that is recyclable and safe for children. The Baby Set includes a seating rail and a baby back plate. It can easily be attached to the Tripp Trapp highchair to provide additional support and stability as well as allowing a baby as young as 6 months old to join the family at mealtime. The Baby Set provides comfort and support which encourages the child to interact more with the family.

This worked great and my daughter wanted to keep using it in spite of out growing it! Only complaints are that it's hard to clean where the straps connect to the chair, and hard to remove when ready to move on to just a booster seat.

I have had my Stokke Tripp Trapp for nearly 8 years now, but this is my first baby to get the baby set for. I have to say it makes it so much easier to use with a little baby (7 months old and sitting up independently). She feels so much more secure than my other babies did using just the harnesses. It isn't absolutely necessary, but it's been a nice extra this time around.

This set came with the purchase of the tripp trapp high chair. Since our 6 months old cannot sit up by herself, this baby set adds additional protection.

The straps that come attached to the chair may be sufficient. I would buy the chair first and then decide after if you really need the baby set.

I purchased two of these baby seats for our moss green and soft pink Tripp Trapp chairs. Purchased for our twins, and the use of another 20 month old, these seats are a handsome addition to a wonderful and versatile high chair.
Easy to clean and a perfect color match , they provide additional support for infants transitioning into an independent seated position. This is a must have for you to use the infant tray.

Cons

  • Leg holes may become tight for chunky baby legs at about 20 months if you have a large child
  • Must have if you want to use the baby tray

We got this baby set to go with our Tripp Trapp and the tray. Easy to disassemble for cleaning and easy to reattach to chair. My only negative is that this should be included with the chair itself.
