Stopped working after 4 months

We received this soother on our baby registry. We have been using it for ~4 months, but last night it stopped working. We checked the USB plug with another device and the plug was still working, so we think the Elephant is broken.�

We really like this soother because it helps our twin girls sleep at night. We would expect something like this to last a long time, not just 4 months.

This sound machine is so cute. It has an adorable nightlight on it that my son loves to look it. However the quality of the white noise is not great. It sounds muffled. For the cost I was expecting more because I have a $20 sound machine that sounds way better and has a battery backup. I am already looking to replace it since the quality is poor.
