Wished I had read the reviews before purchasing. Does not work at all.

I followed the directions and it doesn't work,it only plays music , and the lights do not work for the set times. I'm going to return my item, waste of money.

I am beyond aggravated with this thing. My son and I were both so excited for this light. If it worked the way it is supposed to then it would be perfect but unfortunately it's not. I've spent way too long on this item for it not to work. The red light won't stay on at night while music is playing which it's supposed to. You can have 1 or the other it seems. I've changed my song option 10x to lullaby and it won't stay on that music, it'll change to the rain sound 5 seconds later. I am just so disappointed in this item and was really looking forward to it

It is a basic light with no coloured light features. Do not buy this. Waste of money

Same as other reviewers, have spent probably hours trying to set the clock and the lights do not come on at the scheduled time. Maybe I am missing something

Cannot get this light to work. Just serves as a timed night light and noise maker which I don't need. Not sure if I can return at this point as I thought I just set it up wrong but it clearly just doesn't work.

I bought this for my daughter this afternoon as she has been having issues knowing when to get out of bed, and needs nightlight and sound machine - this seemed perfect.

But it's either broken or impossible to set up. "Go to bed" light doesn't come on, light only stays on for 20 minutes. Haven't made it to the morning to see if that functions correctly or not. Very disappointed that this is not at all what it advertises itself to be.

We set and reset everything a million times by following the directions but the clock never changed colour! I was extremely disappointed

The features are hard to navigate and don't seem to function consistently. It should be simplified. Something to turn it on at night, stay light all night, and turn green at the set wake up time. It's trying to do too much and it's just a pain. Their products are usually much more streamlined.

I bought this light for my 2 1/2 year old and so far so good. She understands that red means bed time. I don't have an issue in the morning she sleeps in so I can't speak for the a.m. wake up but I like the new bedtime routine. Easy to set up as well.

Haven't tried the product yet, but hoping this helps my toddler who doesn't like to stay in bed at night. He enjoys his night lights.

We tried this product for a few days, but there is one constant problem that cannot be fixed: The auto shut-off 'feature'. Our child often wakes up to no light at all, even though this product calls itself a 'nightlight'. It's not a nightlight if it doesn't stay on all night, and this product cannot be set to stay on all night - which in my opinion is this product's greatest flaw. Nobody can predict exactly when a child will wake up, and it's not always within the 30-minute window this product allows for. This should be an easy fix: Auto shut-off could be disabled while the product is plugged into a/c power. Had it not been for this unfortunate oversight, this would be a product worth using. Ours was returned.

Our family was really excited for this light to arrive - our 3 year old loved the red/yellow/green lights as he loves guidance, and my husband and I were excited to not have our son climbing into our bed at 5am. I was disappointed the very first night by the volume of the white noise. Maybe it's just our kids, but the volume was way too low and I asked my husband to turn the volume up, to which he replied, "that's as high as it goes". As another reviewer mention, now we need to have both the light and our sound machine on at the same time.
The most frustrating feature being that it plays "wake up" music when the light turns green. I wanted a light signal to give my son the 'okay' to get out of bed IF he was awake. I didn't want an alarm clock to wake him up if he happens to be sleeping in. It would be one thing if my child had to get up for school in the morning and we were on a strict schedule, but he's a toddler. If he's sleeping, let him sleep! And of course you can't turn the music volume down to zero so that there's no 'wake ip' music.
The only benefit to this light machine is that my son actually stays in bed until 6:30am when the light turns green, which is I guess why we purchased it in the first place, hence the 3 stars.
All in all, it technically works, but has some major design flaws. You get what you pay for.

bought for my grand daughter as she gets older. should help with sleeping

We got this as a gift for our 4 year old who is suddenly very interested in time. She will only got to sleep when the cloud is singing so we switch it to "nap" mode when she goes to bed. Once it's programmed, the rest is easy. My daughter turns it on by herself. My 15 month old is also in love and crawls in big sister's bed so she can reach it. I don't think it's that difficult to operate though I saw some other parents had a problem with that. Honestly, once you program it it's smoooooooooth sailing and happy kids!

I bought this about a week ago and it is really good so far. I read the reviews recently about how hard it was to set it up for other people. I am 12 years old and I figured it out just fine. You just have to really read the instructions. Don't judge me but I was looking for a new alarm clock and I found this one. I knew it was for Baby's/ toddlers but I still thought t was really cute!

My daughter is an early riser, so this has helped her determine when it's ok to get out of bed and "come find mommy". It has also helped her learn a few colors! My son likes the cloud shape and that the cloud has a face. He thinks it's so cute!

I purchased this after reading reviews for many other sleep trainer nightlight sound machines. I didn't want to spend a fortune on something that my child may not take to, so this one fit the right price point with many of the features I was looking for.

Pros:
The design is very cute. My child was so excited when they saw it.
I like the simplicity of the colors used (red/yellow/green only).
The sound quality is good, even if there are only 3 to pick from.

Cons:
Took so long to set up and it took a few tries before I got everything set up the right way, despite the detailed instructions.

I wish I could press the sun to initiate the sleep timer, instead of having to set a time (or at least let it override the set sleep time). My child doesn't always go to bed at the exact same time at night. If we put them to bed earlier, then the yellow light isn't even on yet. If they go to bed later, we missed the yellow/red light completely. It's confusing for the child.

I wish the sound and light could stay on all night long. Now, I have to use a sound machine AND the cloud. My child woke up (too early!) and didn't understand why there were no lights on, so they don't get the benefit of "sleep training".

Overall, we'll keep using it. I hope some improvements could be made for the next version though and it'd be a home run!

The Dream & Shine Sleep Trainer is one of the cutest products ever. It's shaped like a cloud and who doesn't love clouds? It lights up different colors; red for go to bed, yellow for almost time to get up and green for get up. I don't think my toddler can handle that at her age right now but she loves that it lights up nonetheless. It plays white noise,rain, and a lullaby to soothe them to sleep but it also has a cute little song and lights up when the alarm goes off. So adorable and it helps them get into a sleep routine. I use mine a nightlight for my toddler for now but we'll be sleep training shortly. I highly recommend.

I love the design. The clouds with the little sun peeking over is adorable. The clock on the bottom is pretty nifty but kind of confusing. It doesn't have a light so you can't really read it in the dark. Also I didn't like the music options. The noises, what I assume are, whale noises and ocean waves? is kind of annoying! Not soothing at all! My 2 year old loves the night light though

This is such an innovative nightlight! It features for different options including a sleep trainer, soother, nightlight, and alarm. The sleep trainer has lights and music that helped to signal bedtime for my daughter and went together. It encourages her to sleep better and it also helps with naptime. The soother works by using sounds and lullabies. She absolutely loves the nightlight and it has three brightness levels. The alarm helps her to wake up with soft songs and lights. This device looks friendly and happy and she loves using it. I love how versatile it is and I love that it teaches her to stay asleep longer.

I was so excited for this. It looks adorable and the idea behind it is just what I was looking for. I wanted something to signal bedtime by shining a certain color, stay on all night, then slowly let my child know it's almost time to get up by changing color again, finished by a "wake up" color. It changes colors for these occasions, but it shuts off after 20 minutes. So if he wakes up in the middle of the night it's just off :/ not what I was wanting. And it's entirely too complicated to program. Definitely wish I wouldn't have bought this and went straight for the original nightlight sleep trainer...

I love the four in one feature this trainer provides. My daughter loves the lulluby and how the lights work. This is still a work in progress as she finds this piece fascinating. We attached this to a power adapter to use. However, i would have prefered to have the interface in front rather than under the trainer. Its not convenient with the time set and not visible without looking under.

Our family uses sound machines to help us sleep and we've purchased several different brands and types. Dream and Shine Sleep Trainer is super cute and would be a great idea, if it worked or was easier to program! We couldn't get the sound machine portion to work more than 20 minutes before cutting off and waking a kid! I'm going to go back and try to reprogram, again. If it would hold the memory with batteries, I think it would work better!

I read the directions on this, but I guess we still haven't really gotten the hang of it. My son's bedtimes are generally around the same time (30 minutes plus or minus from 7:30pm), and he wakes up anywhere from 6:30-7:30am. I set a timer for bedtime at 7:30, but I don't think I ever see it on when I put him to sleep. I can manually press the button to turn it on though and I assume it shuts off after a while. It's a cute distraction to have in the room though when my son wants to fight bedtime though.

My 2 year old twins boys have needed noise to fall asleep since they were babies so I was super excited to try this! They love the soothing sounds and it definitely helps to relax them. With having 2 older kids that I have to bring to school, I always hated having to wake them up. The alarm is amazing. It gently wakes them up so they wake in a good mood. The night light is also a huge plus. This thing does everything needed to help with routines. Use this every night!!

This sleep trainer is a good idea, with a lot of features and different timers, for napping or bedtime. It has 3 different tunes to choose from and a night light. The only thing I personally didn't like about it, was the volume was a bit too low for me, was hard to hear the lullaby.

The light does not stay on to signal that it is time to get out of bed. Once it turns green it turns off. And evens turns off in the night. It's very confusing for children.

Uff really needed it in my life. It has helped my baby of almost 2 years to follow a bedtime routine, we are working on it and this sleeper has worked very well, it is also so nice with the cloud shape and the sun is super cute. In addition the soul helps us to meet the times and routine of day to day. I loved

I love the design of this "sleep trainer". It's cute and catches my daughter's eye. It was very easy to set the time and set up. As far as the soothing sounds and lights go though, I had set the bar too high. My daughter does not like to sleep and has never slept through the night in her 15 months of life. I had hoped things would change with the sleep trainer. I've tried to turn on the nightlight and soothing sounds and the first few times it soothed her to sleep. However neither stays on, which I'm sure was it's intended use. She doesn't stay sleep either. As soon as the sound stops, she wakes up. It doesn't seem to help wake her either-but I think that's more her internal clock after being up multiple times through the night. We will continue to try with her but I don't think I'd recommend to others as it doesn't preform as I thought it might.

My Daughter absolutely loves this! It really makes bedtime soothing. She enjoys the sounds and lights which help her fall fast asleep. Soothing sounds and great ambiance keep her attention. This is a must have!

This thing is pretty cute. My three-year-old was a horrible sleeper he would get up at 4 a.m. coming for chocolate milk and waking me up. Now I can set the clock on this so he knows when it turns green it's time for him to come bother me. I don't like how you can't really move the projector so you cant angle it anywhere in your room. I like how it has a timer so you can send it for 60 minutes It'll play lullaby music until your children are asleep and it shuts off on its own. It doesn't really have White Noise music it's more like an ocean which is okay I'm not really big on the lullabies that has I just like how it will turn colors and alert my child when to wake up it's a cute little Edition.

This is so sweet. It really is working and we are getting back to a normal routine with baby in his own bed. He really enjoys this so if you are having issues with bedtime, I suggest trying it. It did take a few days but it is well worth it

This little night light is amazing! While I will agree that it can be confusing to program, you get the hang of it once you do it a few times.
This product has made my 4-year-old excited about bedtime, and has encouraged him to stay in bed and has been a great addition to our nighttime routine.
The 2-minute "get ready" feature is so helpful as it helps him prepare for when the cloud turns red, signifying it's time to sleep.
It's convenient that this uses batteries, and you can plug it in to a USB cord.
All in all, I would highly recommend this product!

The light sleep and wake lights do not stay on long enough. I sent my child back to bed before the alarm and they fell back asleep, slept through the alarm and past the green light staying on. It was very confusing to them why it was not green when they got up.

It's a waste of money.. it's difficult to program. Doesn't stay on all night. It plays the music on the yellow then turns off. It's a cute design but doesn't work right. Really disappointed

The look of the product gets my son excited for bedtime but getting it to set wake and sleep mode was a little confusing and I'm only currently using it for a night light
