Not our favorite gym

The toys are nice. The musical whale is annoying. The mat is creative. However, my son quickly became bored with this gym and we don't get much use out of it, other than relocating the toys to other gyms and mobiles. We had better luck with the fisher price gym.

I received this as a gift at my baby shower. Thank God I did, as my little girl LOVES this thing. I work from home as well as take care of the baby and this keeps her so entertained. Each animal is fascinating in it's own way and she's able to interact with them all differently. There are multiple places to attach different little toys. It's easy to put together, easy to wash, and air dries very fast. Right now, at 3 months, it's her favorite place to hang out. She'll get annoyed with me if I take her out of it before she's done playing.

Our baby plays on this mat nearly everyday (he's now 4 months). I can really appreciate how much thought was put into the design of this play gym and it's easy to assemble. Our baby loves to swat, kick,and pull at the dangling animals and it's easy to move this item between rooms--there's no need to disassemble it, just lift from the "prong" up top. When he's on his tummy, he loves looking at the images on the quilt and enjoys exploring the crinkly flaps (elephant's ear, leaves, bird's wings). One of the best purchases by far!

It does cost a little more than average but you get great quality and a great product. My wife and I are very happy with this gym and use it every day. The materials are great and we've already washed it and it still holds up well. It's a good size, light and easy to pick up and move, with no plastic parts for the cross bars which is good. Great for tummy time and exploration.
