The strollers sounds extremely cheap and plastic like a toy and it has a weird wobble when you push it, I am absolutely displeased by this item

Lightweight and easy to set up
May 13, 2021
The stroller is lighter in weight and easy to take in and out of the car. Great value, it includes the car seat and adapter to put the car seat in it. Moves smoothly and the basket is good size.

Just buy another stroller
February 11, 2020
Just save yourself the trouble and buy another stroller. I loved this stroller at first because of all of the options and the bassinet piece. The only good thing about this stroller is that it is lightweight and easy to fold with one hand (when the wheels do get stuck and keep it from folding all of the way). With in the first month of use the canopy for the car seat broke. You have to first destroy the car seat so you can get a new one so after 7 months we are still without the canopy on the car seat. The storage basket constantly comes undone and you can not fit the average diaper bag when the full seat is on. Luckily, I have a back pack type diaper bag and constantly carry it on my back. You feel every bump and crack in the pavement. Not good if the baby is sleeping and you are trying to take a walk. I would say that this is barely good enough for the mall. The car seat is hard to snap into the adapters on the stroller and the full seat is hard to take off of the stroller. If my baby falls asleep in the car seat I have to constantly lift the car seat up and down off the stroller until finally I hear the click (This can take minutes). By that time my daughter will have woken up. I wish I could get my money back or exchange for a different stroller. Stay away from this travel system.

Amazing for a 1st time dad

Once I received this stroller. Took me a minute to read through the instructions to set up the whole thing. And I mean a minute. Super easy to use and to set up. We checked out a lot of car seat/stroller combos... nothing beats this. I highly recommend it.

I'm a little dissatisfied
July 14, 2019
I researched this product for months before placing on my baby registry. The thought of a 6-1 travel system worked for me as I am a sports mom on the go. It was just too good to be true my little one is just under 4 months and the hood/umbrella on the car seat has broken, the seat itself looks heavily used and the stroller seems flimsy. One of my wheels also has a jam in it. As a result I'll have to invest in something else.

I would recommend this to my young parents!

This lightweight stroller is very convenient especially it being an easy transition stroller from car seat to riding in the stroller. It's also earth friendly being recycled plastics! Having the 6-in-1 also means I will be able to use it for every stage of the child's life!

excellent value
October 21, 2018
Pros:
I like the versatility of the Safety 1st Riva. It is easy to travel with and the base installs easy in our car. It is also lightweight and the fabric seems to be of high quality. The canopy also has good protection from the sun. The light weight and easy unlocking/locking mechanism makes it easy to use. The assembly was also straightforward and the carrier attaches well to the stroller. While pushing the stroller I feel like it is ergonomic and I will not get tired from an uncomfortable position.

Cons: I do wish the stroller wheels were not plastic. Seems like the ride could be smoother with a rubber based wheel although this wasn't a serious issue for me as my son didn't seem to be bothered by the ride quality. Not sure if that would be the case for everyone.

Overall I think it an excellent value for what you get for this price point and would recommend this product.

Great Stroller
October 14, 2018
This stroller is a great fit for families interested in using a bucket car seat (included with base) because the stroller portion has a compact and lightweight fold that is easy to carry or store in your vehicle.

The stroller seat is versatile as both a seat and a bassinet, It was a cozy spot for our 3-month-old as the bassinet and also large enough to accommodate our 3-year-old. It is really easy to convert and from seat to bassinet.

You need to remove the seat in order to fold the stroller which isn't an uncommon feature and strollers and allows for more compact storage.

I love the option to face the seat forward or backward. The kiddo can face forward and check out the sights if we're somewhere like the zoo or they can face backward to chat about their day (or soothe any fussiness). Switching directions is simple.

The basket under the stroller has great storage but the cupholders are a bit small and the sunshade has limited coverage.

We'd give this stroller a 4.5 rating if we could. We are jogging stroller fanatics because our city sidewalks are fairly treacherous but this stroller impressed us. Its plastic wheels don't pop curbs like our jogging strollers do that have air-filled tires but if someone is using this stroller primarily for shopping or reasonably paved sidewalks then it is a great fit,

Light weight, smooth ride
September 24, 2018
The stroller is lighter in weight, so much easier to take in and out of the car. Love for the price, it includes the car seat and adapter to put the car seat in it. The push on it is nice and smooth. The basket is good in size. Think it's great to have the option of the bassinet for the sleeping baby. The only con for me is the handle bar height.

Great Value Travel System
September 24, 2018
The Riva travel system is a great option for those looking for an all in one system on a stroller/car seat combo. The pros in my opinion are the stroller bassinet conversion and parent facing seat, these are my favorite options. I dislike the dual brake system (must lock both back tires separately). Also the canopy on the carseat is loud and a bit clunky, I wouldn't want to have to adjust it with a sleeping baby.
Overall a great option for a stroller with some of the top brand configurations at a more affordable price.

Great value! Easy to install and maintain.
September 16, 2018
Our LO is now 7 mo and we were exploring a backup stroller and car seat set and this fit the bill perfectly.

Overall: The stroller and car seats are extremely lightweight (a factor one appreciates more and more as your baby grows) due to its primarily plastic build. The product was so intuitively simple to install, that I barely looked at the installation manual and had it together in 15 minutes. We like that the fabrics zip off for easy cleaning and that the stroller seat converts into a fairly long bassinet (Our daughter still fits! Even though she's outgrown her other bassinet). For the money, its a good investment that fits many needs. Really tough to beat on value - cup holders, bassinet and car seat all included in the package when typically they are sold separately as accessories. Aesthetics are decent to boot.

Pros: Very "green" construction of recycled plastics, made in the USA. Easy installation. Easy zip on/off for maintenance. Car seat canopy extends nicely. Car seat base is easy to install, has LATCH clips. Can also install without the base. Bassinet/Stroller seat is very long and has plenty of length for our LO to grow into. While the seat only has 2 settings (upright and slight recline), as the stroller seat converts directly to a bassinet, there isn't a need to carry both at the same time and LO can comfortably move from sitting up to sleeping flat without having to install a separate bassinet attachment! Stroller maneuvers fairly well. Adapters to switch from car seat carrier to stroller seat are easy to use. Large basket underneath that is easy to get to.

Cons: Construction can feel a bit cheap. Stroller handle bar is not adjustable for those of slightly shorter stature but manageable. Bassinet/Stroller seat is a bit snug width-wise, seems like that dimension may be the first thing our LO grows out of (our LO is pretty chunky =D). Cup holders on the stroller handle bar have a gap where they're attached that can pinch.

Well Priced
September 15, 2018
I was so excited to try this travel system. Without taking it out of the box, I loved that the seat can be converted from a seat to a bassinet because with a newborn (or in my case a newborn and a toddler) the less clutter the better.

To assemble this took me about 30 minutes and was a little cumbersome but manageable. My main issue was in turning around the seat from forward to parent facing as the parts of the seat that cOnnect to the stroller frame could easily slip and not be installed correctly.

I walked around with my newborn (2 months) in this in the bassinet setting and he was content. I liked that the canopy could be extended further down to keep the sun out of his eyes. However I wish that there was a way to tuck the seat belt somewhere since it seemed a bit uncomfortable for him to be in it. Also, the bassinet recline jiggled a bit and I wish it was more secure in 1 position do I didn't have to worry about my newborn getting bounced around so much. I likely will not be using the bassinet setting for it

I also had my toddler in it (2.5 years, 36" and 28 lb. the seat was a bit short for her however she is very tall for her age. She was comfortable in it without the canopy up, however had no place to put her snacks.

The basket was a decent size for my diaper bag and a blanket. The cup holders are great and I love that there are two, however the handles didn't seem too sturdy and looked as though it could easily break with my diaper bag hanging off if it.

The brakes were simple enough to use, however one of the sides made a light click even though it wasn't locked.

The food was simple and extremely easy to do 1 handed. This is a stroller for my mom (who takes care of our kids while we are at work) to use and it is a good weight for her to be able to lug around easily.

The car seat base was easy to install in the car, however my son didn't seem too comfortable in the car seat.

Great for < 6 months
September 15, 2018
If I could re-do my registry and select a stroller that would be great for the first 6 months, I would pick this one. What makes it great for the first six months over other travel systems in this price point are these features:
- can use the frame with a car seat (no need for a separate snap and go frame)
- seat converts to a bassinet so the baby isn't always in the car seat for walks
- seat can parent face

I feel like the baby outgrows the stroller after that. My son is 8 months old, and he's pretty maxed out in the seat, especially in width (and he's not a heavy kid!). I also have a Zoe XL1 which I thought was narrow - this is narrower.

In summary, great stroller to put on the registry and get a lot of use out of it initially, but plan to invest in another, long term stroller.

Overall this is a great stroller for this price point.
Pros:
Easy assembly
Easy parent face option
Easy conversion of the seat to bassinet for babies
Blue Sky color is gorgeous
Washable fabric
Recline button is very easy to use
Two cup holders standard
Lightweight considering the functionality
Extendable canopy with mesh peek-a-boo window for pretty good sun coverage
Really good sized basket with easy access
Push is good over varied terrain (pavement, tile, hardwood, grass)
Cons:
Handlebar is a little high for my height 5'2" (would love telescopic handlebar)
Seat is really narrow (my 22# 1 year old seems a little squished)
Opening stroller when folded takes some practice (I struggled initially)

Quality travel system that's lightweight and easy to clean
September 12, 2018
Stroller was delivered earlier this week and we wasted no time in putting it together. Was easy to assemble and took very little time. I purchased this stroller for quick trips and small travel adventures.

I love that the fabric is machine washable and easy to take on and off. Too, the 85% recycled parts and made in the USA were a selling feature. I used the stroller with my Toddler (43lbs and 44") and he was able to climb in and out with ease and buckle himself in.

Great stroller for someone whom wants a bassenet feature without having to buy one separately. Car seat install was easy in our vehicles-we did it test with a child but rather a baby doll :-). Husband had no issues putting in either vehicle and install was sturdy and quick. The stroller is lightweight and has a great one handed push. I was able to push my toddler with my non dominant hand with little effort on my part.

I would buy again
September 11, 2018
My child is on the small size so the seat is just right for her where she's not sliding back. I like the options of being able to convert from a bassinet direct to a toddler seat. It's just one less item to keep track of. Having the toddler seat that's both rear and parent facing is a nice feature especially when your kids are on the younger side and you want to keep an eagle eye on them.
I purchased the grey seat which I thought is more stain resistant. I also like how easy the toddler seat is to clean and take apart. Considering that my daughter likes to snack in her stroller, the ease of the removing the toddler seat makes it pretty parent friendly. Car seat is fairly easy to slide on and off the stroller. Basket at the bottom has a fairly large capacity, but I didn't test how many gallons of milk it can hold. Overall pretty well made travel system for the price point, my only comment is the non adjustable height of the stroller can be an issue for shorter parents/grandparents.

Great stroller for the price!
September 10, 2018
Such a great stroller for the price! Love the bassinet option and how easy it is to convert the seat for a baby or toddler and the parent facing option is so nice. The included adapters work perfectly with the car seat. This makes it a great option over other 'snap n go' styles since you can use the bassinet or seat as your child grows. I do wish the handlebar was adjustable but realize that's a pricey upgrade that would effect the affordability. I love that it's made in the USA of recycled materials. The fabric is easy to clean and easy to remove from the frame for easy washing. The extendable canopy is nice and large for good sun coverage and nap time. The basket is also plenty roomy for a large diaper bag and a few shopping bags. The fold is slightly awkward with the seat on but you can also remove the seat and the frame folds super flat, great for tiny trunks.

Overall, this has many features of higher end strollers for a much lower price and the added bonus of being environmentally friendly makes it an awesome choice!

Flexible system and a great value
September 5, 2018
This is a great value for a system with this flexibility. It is light, maneuvers well and has a lot of options that similar stroller systems lack. The seat/bassinet must be removed to fold the frame but it is light and snaps into the frame easily.

Not great for toddlers
September 5, 2018
As a nanny of over 15 years, I've had the opportunity to try almost every stroller on the market. From top of the line to the bottom of the barrel, the Riva 6-in-1 Flex is somewhere in the middle. I wanted to like this stroller, but it is just OK.. I love that it's made from recyclable material. I love that the fabric is machine washable. I love that the seat converts to a bassinet- I can see other brands following suit in the future. The double cup holders are a nice feature, there is a decent size basket and good canopy coverage. The canopy does have a zipper option allowing it to extend for more coverage. However, you do have to unzip the canopy if you want to be able to peek on babe through the mesh, and the mesh cover does not stay open. My biggest complaint about this stroller, and it's a deal breaker for me, (if I wrote this from the start you wouldn't read my review) is that the stroller is way too small! I have the tiniest, most petite 2 year old (32" and 23lbs) and she is maxed out. Not just in height, but in width too. She normally loves climbing in her strollers to hang out and she was asking the get out of this one. The recline even at the highest position was way too reclined. If you're looking for a travel system on a budget and you have a newborn, it might be a decent travel system to keep in your car for running errands. Just don't expect to get much use out of it after the first year.

Totally drawn in by the fact that this is made from recycled materials. The push is very good, and the fold is awesome. The colors are fun and the fabric is very stylish. I found the whole system to be very easy to use. The fact that the seat turns into a bassinet, and you can change it with the child in the seat is phenomenal. Definitely my favorite feature.
