Very easy to use so that our curious toddler and younger guests stay safe. Easy to modify too.

The concept is great for toddlers who may have figured out how to get your plug covers out, but it's honestly a pain to have to open. If it's an outlet you don't plan on having to use often or in a child's room, it's perfect.

This product is bulky and not attractive. It sticks out and can't really be hidden behind furniture. Obviously my child's safety is the most important thing but there has to be a better looking way to protect them from cords and outlets.

My youngest son is 15 months & i call him my tornado lol. His most recent site of destruction is cords & outlets. So this was right on time! This stopped him from yanking any charging cables out or devices/appliances that were plugged in. I'm hoping this cover would come in a different shape like a box so it wouldn't stick out so much or to be a better fit for certain furniture. It would also be great if it could fit different sized charging ports.

I wasn't sure at first if I would like this product because it seemed a little bulky and awkward to use. But honestly, I had nothing to lose by giving it a try and I ended up really liking it. It kept an east to access outlet inaccessible by my child as well as helped limit the available cord for my child to tug on and potentially harm himself with a toppling lamp. My cousin-in-law is currently expecting and I have already recommended these to her as she also has animals in her home and could benefit from being able to shorten some of her electrical cords in addition to keeping her new baby away from outlets.

I wish I had these with my first kid. How great to be able to pop off the cover, plug in a device, close the cover, and know that tiny fingers aren't going to be playing with and active cord or outlet. I love the peace of mind I feel in knowing my baby is safe from outlets, while still being able to utilize power sources. Highly recommended

These do the job but are very difficult to open. They are also bulkier than I expected them to be. They keep the cords put away which is what they were supposed to do so they do the job.

A dream come true. A must have for curious toddlers. Easy for adults tough for children. Very nice.

Safety 1st Outlet Cover & Cord Shortener has been a lifesaver when my toddler can pull out the typical outlet plugs.

I was so excited to test out this product. Our toddler seems to have a fascination with the outlets so we've had to find ways to cover them. We've used those little clear plugs that go in the outlet but our toddler has figured out how to pull those out. These outlet covers are an excellent alternative. They are really easy to install. If you can change an outlet cover, you can easily install these. They are a little hard to open at first but once you get the hang of it, they are quite easy to use. My only problem with them is that they do stick out from the wall quite a bit so if you need to put them partially behind furniture or in a walkway, they could be cumbersome. Otherwise, this is a great option for babyproofing your home!

I wanted to love this product but sadly it feel slightly short for what I had expected. It has to be used with shorter cords and since my son is naturally curious as soon as we installed them he tried to rip them off. Or actually made it his mission.

So these outlets covers are very easy to install. I bit difficult to open but i think thats the point. They have a place to wind the extra cord to. My toddler is curious about it because it sticks out from the wall but cant mess with the cord/plugs

Recently install these . And they are very easy . Like how it shortens the cord. My son is Austic so this was very useful for him . He was unable to remove it or mess with cord.

These are great for regular size cords, but we have quite a few cords that are longer and take up more space around the outlet, and these won't fit over them.

It's easy to use although hard to open, which is good if you have children.

This product does what it says and keeps my toddler from messing with the outlets and cords! Just a little hard for ME to open too!

This is ideal for any parent who has a toddler like myself that likes to play with cords or try to plug things into the walls. By using my toddler isn't able to get into cords or plug ins anymore which gives me peace of mind. This product is better than the average things that just pop into the wall because my toddler has learned to he can pull those out an with these he isn't able to do so at 2 years old. I really liked how easy to install these wear an that it comes with a cord shortener to wrap the cord around on the inside which makes it better to keep my toddler safe. I'm not mechanically friendly as a single mom so this was hassle free an easy to use quickly which is a must. It also came with a set of these instead of just one so you can use all over the house or for one room! My new favorite mom hack to keep my toddler safe.

It's too bulky looking and only great for babies room. Not great for high traffic areas

I am sorry, not sorry. I dislike this 100%. My toddler throws them around as toys, because like come on., they're BIG, bulky, and totally unnecessary. There are some out there by the same brand, much thinner and smaller.

I have a toddler that is too smart for his own good. He has attempted to unplug our lamp so that he could plug it back in. These covers not only stop that from happening, but also keep excess cords hidden out of sight. I will be installing them on every outlet me little guy can get to. The installation was super easy. These are definitely a must have for anyone with Little kids.

These work quite well for keeping things plugged in if you have a toddler that likes to unplug things. I wouldn't install these on all of my outlets, just because they can be tricky to open, but they are great to use on outlets where I want things to stay plugged in (like for the baby monitor in the bedroom my son likes to unplug!). My 2 year old can't get them open or unplug things once the cover is on.

Love this idea and love the added protection it provides with my curious toddler. I do think there's room for improvement; I have some smart switches and those don't fit into these, but most basic outlet cables should and should keep the little ones nice and out, and safe from live electricity!

This is a good item . I love it has a safety button. The only problem I have is how bulky it is. It's extremely big and I feel like it's so big it actually draws more attention to the outlet itself.

These are fantastic for little ones who are very curious. We previously had the simple plug-ins but my toddler figured out how to pull them out. These he couldn't figure out at all. The con is, neither could I. I have semi-long nails and couldn't grasp them. My husband had no problem so it's probably user error.I rather keep my little safe.

We recently moved to a new house and we have lots of power outlets in my kids' playroom. This Safety 1st Outlet cover was really useful in making my kid's playroom safe. It does need to be installed but my husband was able to Install it easy with the help of the basic tools (screwdriver) that we have at home. It is very easy to operate for us adults but difficult for the babies (to open the outlet cover). I would definitely be buying it for the rest of the house and would also recommend it to my family and friends.

These were a little confusing to me, but once I figured them out, they work great! Very nice for little ones who are extra curious about outlets and plug ins.

I like this product. It's especially great for curious little hands and really any toddler or young child that likes to play with cords. The only con I would have to say, is that it's not the easiest to install.

Never thought that something like this exists but now that we got it, I totally get the use. Especially if you like to leave your chargers plugged in, this is super useful. My twins love playing with wires and I'm always afraid they will do something with them, something worse than lose them. This is difficult to open as well so I don't see how they will ever figure it out

Works great if you have old style outlets but doesn't work with Decora or GFCI style. An update would be nice.

Most of the cords in my nursery are box plug, not the small two prong outlets. This allows a box plug to be plugged into the top outlet but of course then it covers the bottom outlet. Also, a thicker cord (like the one on my child-safe electric heater) doesn't fit in the slot to come out from the case.

My 3 year old was unplugging and trying to plug back in, he is my Hudini child. I have gotten numerous child locks and guards. This one was most useful!!
