Description

The chic Nuna SENA and SENA minithanks to our clever zigzag leg designpop open easily into a soft, sturdy dreamland, and then refold with just one hand for a quick getaway the next morning.

The SENA series belong to a Dutch-designed family of smart baby gear, so you know its revolutionary design is also evolutionary: growing beyond newborn through toddlerhood, and even doubling as a playspace.

The difference between the 2014 and 2013 models is in the folding mechanism. The 2013 model had removable bars, but a new standard now requires that the bars are attached to the bassinet. Nuna redesigned the SENA (2014) so that the support bars are built into the mechanism.

This travel crib is beautifully designed, durable & strong. The bassinet portion is deep & large (wish I had known this, I would have gotten this earlier). My daughter is 8 months, so I am not using the bassinet, but it was designed very well as they made sure that it is very secure when it is in use, via strong snaps and buckles. The push through/push down mechanism is smooth & easy to use. The mattress is durable, sturdy & comfortable. You don't know how bad I wish I could climb into this thing with her. She can sit comfortably with several toys, & lay down with plenty of room. It is heavier than some other travel cribs, but I've also lifted heavier ones. Not difficult to move & lift when necessary & packing it up is easy! I also see no problem taking this with us to picnics & family BBQs.Love that it is off the ground with NO sagging, even with carpeted floors, I did not want her laying against the floor. We keep it in the living room while we are home. & It unpacks easily at both grandma's houses & anywhere else. Nuna products have NOT disappointed me.

We've owned this travel crib for over a year now and it has been great. Pretty easy to fold and travel with and is safe and sturdy. Definitely a quality made item and great if you don't like the look of traditional baby gear. Overall, no regrets and no complaints. if you have cats, watch the claws as they will snag the side mesh.

I looked long and hard for a sleek and modern looking playard in the color black.. I came across this one after some time and was a little thrown off by the price at first, but it is much larger and can last longer than other playards out there. This can also easily be used as a travel crib. I'm excited to be able to put my little one in it for some short naps and so I can get some things done around the house. We also plan to use it outside this summer along with the coordinating insect net so we can have family cookouts, etc. I think this is a high quality, attractive and well made baby item.

After doing a lot of research, I was trying to find something I could use as a bassinet but then when my baby grows out of it, something that would grow with him that we could continue to use. I read a ton of great reviews about this thing and it is great, good size, seems firm, easy to assemble but the only reason I am not giving it five stars is because it is a little difficult to fold up and store with the bassinet part attached. I wish there was a tutorial for this. The instructions don't go into a ton of detail so my expectations were a little higher than what I got but it is still great! And nontoxic compared to so many other options!

Nuna Sena is so easy to set up and it's lightweight so it's easy to move around. I wish I had this with my first baby. I love the bassinet option and ability to fold the crib with it. It's also very sleek looking and we don't mind keeping it in our living room to keep the baby close and safe. It's tall enough so that our two year old can peek over at the baby but can't get to him. One downside is that when you try to remove waterproof sheet (which you have to buy separately) it tends to catch on bassinet Velcro that holds (matters) padding in place and it is running the sheets. My baby loves being in it it and that's all that matters.

This travel crib is super easy to use. My only complain is that the mattress is not really a mattress and more like a piece of heavy cardboard with padding. That's fine when used as a play yard, but a bit hard when used as a crib.

We bought this crib for our newborn to have a crib downstairs for afternoon naps, after we discovered that carrying our heavy co-sleeper downstairs was simply not an option.
