Brought this for my pre 2010 urban elite model. To make it fit I had to sew a zip on the hood and add some extra length to the top as well. Now that it fits, it's awesome! Comforting to know my babe isn't getting full sun and insects on him as we get around. Love it!

This does not shade a baby at all , nor does it keep the sun out of their face. You will need to put something over it to keep the sun out of the eyes if you are walking in a direction the sun is coming in. Not only that, but when I purchased it , on the box it stated it fit the parent facing option of the cary cot+. Clearly it does not. Terribly disappointing (again),

I was using a generic sun shade on my old mountain buggy, I am so glad I bought this one that zips onto the hood of my newer model, it takes up so much less room and is quick and easy to use.

This does what is is supposed to and I have no real complaints about it. I think my son didn't like it too much as it blocked out too much of his vision. I would have preferred to have something build into the stroller hood that could extend further to protect eyes from the sun. The opening (with zips) is not very wide so I generally took it off to get my son in and out.
