Right rear wheel falls off
By CProudfoot

on January 7, 2017
We bought this stroller 3 days ago and were very happy to find a travel stroller with all the features we desired. Unfortunately, after one walk around our block (first use!), the rear wheel fell off about mid-walk. Kept trying to pop it back on but it was no use... ended up carrying our baby home after several unsuccessful attempts to make the wheel stick. This seems like this is a recurrent issue with this stroller in particular. Is there an easy fix or are we destined to return it?

Love how this stroller is light weight and compact. Saves up quite a bit of room in the trunk of our car! Would have been even better with a larger canopy, but overall worth the buy!

I've had the mini travel system for about a month now. It's great! So easy to get in and out of the car with my new Bub. Take time to set it all up and it should be fuss free. Infuse it everyday for long walks across a range of terrain and it's very good. I feel like she is very safe and she seems comfortable. It's so light I can lift the frame, capsule and bubs all at the same time up or down the stairs. I would buy this again however it isn't the fanciest one. But it still looks clean and neat. We do get compliments on the pram as well. It's made my life easier. Plus the rocket feature on the capsule is great at Cafes as it keeps bubs quiet. I really love it.

I bought this pushchair to solely use for the car and clipping on the car seat, however this quickly became my most used pushchair. Not only is the fold easy amd compact, the seat is roomy enough for an older toddler, the hood gives great coverage, the recline is perfect and the push is light!

We've had this nano stroller for well over a year now. It's been on several trips with us and it's still going strong now! It's easy to close and even easier to open (one-handed). Many people are surprised when they see me flick it open! :) After more than 1 year of using this, there is a problem though. The front wheels are lockable and the lock slides down on its own thereby locking the wheels. We've had to stick in some blutack to keep the locks up so that we can swivel the wheels - it's really an inconvenience. Apart from this one issue, we're happy with the stroller in general.

We're expecting out first baby in June and after speaking with our friends, countless hours watching YouTube reviews, excel spread sheets comparing strollers, and finally stroller cruising on the UWS, UES, Chelsea and Tribeca we decided on the Mountain Buggy MB Mini 2015 version for it's lightweight travel system. It's under 20lbs so we can check at the gate and has three large wheels unlike other systems which have a combination of three small wheels or four smaller wheels which feels less sturdy, especially when maneuvering around New York's uneven sidewalks. Another reason we chose this stroller is because have homes both in the city and the country and don't want to have excessive strollers to deal with. This stroller combines the three wheel design of a jogger that works for both the city and country. We travel a lot, and it works well for this reason. We plan to buy another Mountain Buggy (either Terrain or +one) for our main home.I reduced one star because you cannot buy the stroller alone. It comes with Mountain Buggy's own infant car seat which is okay. However, many reviews I read and watched says it's too small and baby grows out of it took quickly. We paired this stroller with the Nuna Pipa car seat (adapters sold separately). Having an extra car seat is not ideal, but if you have two cars, the spare car seat can always be fixed to one car.
Pros
  • -Updated design 2015 version is more compact than Legacy series
  • -Lightweight
  • -3 wheel, jogger design
  • -Mountain Buggy brand, known for it's sturdy strollers
  • -Adjustable handle. Handle material is beveled for easy grip.
Cons
  • -Comes with the MB infant car seat. Runs small and baby grows out of it quickly. Not suitable for larger or 6+ months.

We purchased the NANO for a trip to Cambodia in January 2016. The NANO made the entire trip that much easier, our 14month old loved laying back and watching the world go by at each airport or simply having a wee nap while Mum & Dad stood in so very many lines... Once we made it to Siem Reap, Cambodia. We were able to use the NANO daily around town, much to the excitement of the local TUK TUK drivers we were able to fold the NANO up and take it along for the numerous short rides to and from our accomodation. Our only wishes were for a small/medium sized concealed compartment to store keys, wallets etc. And the process of folding the NANO meant we had to empty the carry tray each time - so special attention was needed to ensure nothing was missed - that said this was a very minor issue though. Overall the NANO was a total game changer and is, I expect, going to replace our P&T SMART LUX as the primary in town stroller now we are home. Special mention - almost every airline tagged the NANO for collection and stowing from the airbridge. However, once bagged and the wheels removed not one flight crew questioned our 'carry-on' or asked that the NANO stowed. This meant we were able to have the NANO available for our toddler as soon as we disembarked & while processing immigration...

I bought this stroller to travel with my two year old. It was lightweight n compact like I wanted but when I actually used it I loved it. I went shopping and could easily fold it and put it over my shoulder with the other shopping bags and hold my child's hand to get quickly into a taxi. The added bonus is definitely that it is smaller than some carry on luggage so they allow it on the plane so u don't have to wait for them to get ur stroller after the flight... Well done mountain buggy. This is definitely one of my best purchases!!! Now for a double....hummmm...

Baby finds it comfortable, leaves loads of room in the car and use it for the run around the corner to the crche. Easy to fold and carry, used it for holidays and sports events and car seat fits securely on it so can take it in taxis. Definitely recommend. Great customer service from Sinead when we had a small problem. Even took it hand luggage on Aer Lingus when not too busy!

I bought this stroller because I like to go out in the city with my son but with our regular stroller it was a hassle to get around but with this buggy getting around is much easier and I am able to take my son alone in the city and not feel like i am lifting weights while traveling in the subway. My husband Wilmar loves it also because i am not complaining anymore about a heavy stroller.

We bought this for our 11 mo for a month long trip to the states- I am used to a big off road walking pram and I have to admit this is now my go to pram.Firstly, I love how compact it is and it is easy to take on flights with the carry bag. We also often collapse it in cafes and put it under the table to create more room. It is easy to manoeuvre and fits so many more places than our big pram.In terms of ride, our son loved it and would easily have his nap in it. Some days we walked up to 20k and it was comfortable. At first, we kicked the brake on a few times but once we got used to it, we adjusted our stride to not hit it. We did buy a liner with extra head protection so that he had something soft to rest his head on rather than leaning on the bars. The canopy isn't that big but we purchased the sun and rain cover set and it was great- handy when in shops and he was sleeping to block out the lights as well as outside.Only downside is the quality of the material on the basket underneath- within a week of normal use, it started to fray.Overall, awesome pram to travel and great for everyday use too!

Great for travel & home
By BecH

We bought this buggy a few months ago in preparation for our recent overseas holiday. As a pram around home it is great, so compact (great for my small car) and easy to move around busy shops, etc. BUT as a travel pram it is BRILLIANT. We took 7 international flights and were able to take this pram as carry-on for all of them. We mostly used the pram for our 4 year old (17kgs) as well as stashing stuff (water bottles, food, jackets) but our 9month old also got a bit of time in it too. We used it over cobblestones & uneven European streets and it held up so well. The great thing about this pram is it really is full size once it's opened up, but it is just so compact once collapsed. We had a few apartments that were on the 3rd/6th floor (no elevator) but it wasn't a problem to collapse it down and carry up. Also getting onto busy public transport is easy because you can just collapse it down and carry it on. Collapse it down in busy restaurants and just put it under the table. (See the recurring theme? It's just so easy!) Definitely recommend this great pram for travel, or even just for using around home!

I have the Montain Buggy Urban Jungle as my main pram, but wanted a small light weight pram for travelling with. This pram was great for the remainder of my stay in the UK where i was borrowing a small car, which my bigger pram could not fit into the boot. I then used it at the airport to travel home with my 14 month old on my own. It's great being able to strap the car seat to the pram and not have to carry it around the airport with me. Singapore Airlines had no issue about me bringing it into the cabin either! Totally satisfied with this pram!

I was totally disappointed with the quality of the wheel, from my first stroll I lost one of the wheels on the street. I bought it so that it would ease my function on my vacation and it did otherwise. Adding to that it got ripped from the sides at the basket underneath the seat. I wonder if it is worth it's price!!

I love that the stroller folds up into a square and able to fit in my wife's Civic CNG car trunk without taking up much room. Overall I think the stroller moves well and feels pretty sturdy. It has good balance and can put a diaper bag off the back without it tipping over. I wish the handle was a little taller or had the option to extend. I think the sun shade is pointless and better off getting the Summer Infant Ray shade. The front wheel seems to wiggle quite a bit while rolling it with the baby and I am not sure why. Maybe it is loose or the stroller is crooked? I do also wish that the excess strap for the shoulders would go somewhere else more convenient to put a way. Other than that I don't really have any complaints right now. I will however refrain from recommending it to other people until I can figure out this wheel thing.

We had been given a *********** Travel system by my wifes sister - its was hers from her baby. great system, but quite bulky - would only fit in my wifes car with the rear seat folded down, and it spread out into the rear seats from the boot (its a Skoda Citigo google it). looked at bigger cars - wouldve been massively expensive, and no other cars in the next size class still had a boot large enough to fit it so wouldve ended up with 2 large cars in a driveway built for one and my wife no need of a really big car..... did some looking, and the Nano Stroller came out best on my comparison scoring system (I do procurement stuff at work so a have a method we use) ordered it, it arrived as promised, and fits brilliantly in my wife's car boot (trunk) with loads of room to spare for other things. its Light weight, easy to fold, seems pretty rugged and well put together so should last until little guy hits 4 yrs old as it says. Ordered the Weather pack too - sun shade and rain covers, worth every penny, perfect fit and easy to put on and store. Says its Maxi Cosi car seat compatible, but i believe our M&P one will also fit, havnt had a chance to try it out yet though.

I have been really happy with both of my Mountain Buggy strollers and with all of the customer service I have received. I have the Duet 2.5 and the Nano. I can't tell you how lovely it is to have these small strollers when I'm running around with my two girls (3 years and 8 months). The Nano in particular was a lifesaver while we were moving overseas. We had searched for a "travel stroller" and had tried several (Maclaren, Quinny Zapp, Graco Snugrider) but this is by far the best. Loves: Tiny fold Lightweight Sturdy build Universal carseat compatibility Taller height -- my 6 foot tall husband can push this stroller pretty well, although he does sometimes accidentally step on the brake while he's walking Full canopy Full recline Suspension Dislikes: The sun canopy needs to not cover the bar where my hands rest when it is closed. It should rest in the closed position just in front of the bar so that my hands don't get SO HOT because they are under the canopy when I have the canopy closed. This really is irritating. It really ought to have a one-hand fold. It is great to throw into taxis and to take on the subway or bus, but I either have to put my baby in my Beco baby carrier or sit her on the dirty ground in order to fold it. I didn't even notice this problem until we moved to the city and started to use public transportation all the time, but now it's a real hassle. Wishes: Parent pocket Bottle holder

I wish I had bought this before buying all the bulky more expensive prams I have had, got this for travel purposes abroad. This closes up so small you can carry it on your shoulder. Negatives 1- the sunshade covers the hand rest where you push the pram if its open so u need to keep it down to push pram. 2- sunshade mesh at back so whilst breathable it let's the sun hit through the back of child head if laying down. 3 - when my toddler lay in it his head kept bending side ways because it was touching the sunshade at back but he is 3. Other than that I wouldn't recommend it for everyday also small basket but for travel it's the best out there.

This stroller is so convenient and easy to use I often feel like I'm forgetting to do something every time I use it. Easy to collapse/open, easy to use with my car seat, and so light I can bring it everywhere! It weighs as much as my diaper bag lol. No issues with wheels locking or stiffening. Super easy to clean as well. Both my kids love it. We use it way more than any of our other strollers.

Toddler loves it and has no trouble sleeping in it. Best part is how small it folds up, a breeze to carry especially when travelling. Best compact stroller we've used. Nice to see people still care to provide good customer service. I would buy from them again.

I was fortunate enough to win this stroller in a giveaway. I couldn't be more pleased! It is exactly what every parent would want in a travel stroller. I love that it can be folded quickly and carried with a strap-great for boarding a bus or shuttle at the airport. Even when we aren't traveling, I keep this stroller in the back of my car for when we are out and about. It folds up nice and compact, so it doesn't take up a ton of room. It's wonderful!

I bought this stroller and the capsule in New Zealand last year. My little one loved being snug and facing me when we would go out, so we pretty much used the capsule all the time, although we didn't have a car then. We were thrilled to learn that we could take the Nano with us on the plain to Canada and store it in the carry-on compartment. It made a huge difference and made us fully mobile and stress-free. All other parents were curious and at awe - they loved Nano! My little one is 14 months now and Nano is our 'best buggy' still. Granny adores it too - it's light-weight and easy to maneuver!

Mountain Buggy Nano Review Wow where do I start? What a pram! I first saw the Mountain Buggy Nano online and was instantly taken away with how cool it seemed. The fact that it could be taken on an aeroplane but also reclined was a big seller for me. We were in the process of planning an interstate holiday and realised this pram would be absolutely amazing for us. We were already the owners of our super amazing Mountain Buggy Terrain but travelling with a small child, two stopovers and then my sister and her 3 children (no prams needed), we thought the Terrain may become a tad annoying to cart along. The nano was PERFECT! Instant purchase and instant love. Just amazing for a small pram, it compacts so easy that I do not even store it in the boot of my car yet the rear footwell! We have used it so much as an everyday runabout pram. It slides in anywhere, is light yet sturdy and even has storage at the bottom. The fact that it also reclines was a big winner for us as allowed our son to have naps in it. Our now 18 month old still rides in it easy and loves it. It is easy to manouvere and I cannot recommend it higher. I know of around 5-6 friends who instantly brought one after I raved about it so much. We have used it at airports and it is SO nice to jump off a plane, flip the pram out and then your child is secured! I have read some negative reviews about the pram being unsuitable for walking, well in my opinion the pram is made for smaller inner city type areas, cafes, shopping and travelling and I think it is AMAZING! Oh and my partner can use it too, so man friendly!

This stroller is excellent, I use this more than my other MB as this is light, folds up small and does not take up loads of room in the boot of the car. Even though there are cheaper strollers on the market the quality with the Nano is worth the extra
