Not what I was hoping for

I bought the medela swing single breast pump, because it was the only one all the nearby pharmacies carry. I wasn't planning on pumping, but when I gave birth to my late preterm, i had no choice. I used the Symphony in the hospital which cracked my nips and the swing is just as agonizing. It spills milk often (the seal of the suction cap opens while pumping), it takes FOREVER to pump (at least an hour or more) and it's not confortable (I've tried many settings). This pump is best suited for the occasional pumping mom, maybe. I've already had a few lumps in my breasts, because it's not good at emptying my milk. It also cost a good chunk of change, despite having coverage from my insurance (I would have rather invested in something better). I also think the bottles that come with it are cheap and the bottle head gives my baby gas.
