Maxi Cosi Priori Convertible Car Seat in Corniche

I got this car seat from Albee Baby for my then one-year-old at a great price. I love the recline feature because it cradles her just right when she falls asleep in the car. No more head lolling about. My daughter is 2 now and sits forward facing. The car seat is still a great fit for her.

By far the most comfortable and secure baby seat yet. We have two others, and I returned another I had bought from a store. This is the best there is.

This is the second Maxi Cosi Priori we have purchased, as this is a top notch product. I researched SEVERAL carseats and even tried and returned some. Then, we found the Maxi Cosi. Both my children are comfortable and sleep easy in this seat for long car rides. It is small enough to fit comfortably in a small SUV or medium size sedan. It has the easiest 5 point harness on the market with no difficulty in loosening or tightening. It is easy to get into and out of the vehichle. Transports easily for travel in airports.

Car seat is a little hard to install tightly enough, but not too badly. Very sleek and modern looking. So happy with this product.

this car seat is great. It is easy to install and easy to remove. I tried a couple of other seats and this is the only one that fits in all of our vehicles. My daughter seems to like it she sleeps in very well. adjusting the straps is also easy.

Was easy to use and easy to install. For the price, not a bad seat. DOM was almost a year old when we got it, The priori was discontinued in 2011, but that won't be an issue for us since it will be outgrown before it's expired. Overall though, comfy, nice looking black & gray car seat.

I first want to say that I searched and searched for a seat for my son that would recline, was not super expensive, and that would last. I stumbled upon this seat and saw very good reviews. So I took a chance and ordered it. We have been using it for 3 months now and absolutely LOVE it. It was easy to install and the color is great. Very easy to clean and manage. We love the reclining option.

Fits well in compact car

My 21 mos old daughter fits well. It was hard to assemble at first.. but got the hang of it once you know where to put the seat belts. I did not realize it was actually big and bulky thank goodness it fit my car and I have a Volvo XC90. It is also very sturdy! Took the car seat to Vegas and checked it in by just using the plastic sheet it came with the packaging and the car seat held up very well.

Absolutely luv this car seat. Its light weight, easy to install, and sporty. I was researching car seats for at least 3 months and chose this one due to the safety, comfort, recline feature, price, and smallness. I got it in exactly 1 week like stated. My 10 mo. Old son loves it. My friend has a graco nautilus and i like mine better. I couldn't be happier.

We have been using this car seat for a couple of months for our 1 year old. It was very easy to install (we have the LATCH system in my Toyota Corolla). Our daughter is very comfortable in it. Before it was installed, it was sitting on the living room floor, and she loved to climb into it and just sit inside. Now that we have it installed (rear-facing), she falls asleep in it easily, without her head slumping forward. We don't have a problem with the straps twisting, and I love it that they're padded around her shoulders. Also, I like that the clip by the chest is plastic and not metal, since our car does get extremely hot in the summer. The seat is very sturdy and the fabric is good quality. I would definitely recommend this car seat.

It's not to bulky yet very secure and comfortable. I'm gonna buy second one for my other car.

I am extremely happy with this car seat. We have twins and bought these because they had gotten good reviews in regards to safety and space saving. The only thing I can't seem to figure out, is if these are allowed for plane travel. But besides that, I am very happy.

I love this seat. We still have one from our older son which is now being used for our younger son in my husband's car. I wanted a new car seat for our younger son for my car and when I saw this great price on a car seat I already loved, I grabbed it up. It's easy to adjust and install. Comfy and fits well rear facing past a year. I also love that it reclines.

Absolutely love this car seat. My daughter is 14 months but she only weighs 16-17lbs I've been shopping around for 4 months for the right seat. All of the reviews for this seat were a big help. Love the reclining options.so worth the money. Thinking about getting another one for our other car.

this is my fourth baby and my older three all used britax marathons, i bought this for the great sale price and figured i'd try it, sooo glad we did!! the head protection is excellent with the deep sides, and the entire carseat has the eps foam and an additional full layer of epp foam, has the strap and crotch covers, and belt holders, the recline is much better then my britax, its so much more padded then anything else on the market, and had the same crash test rating as britax from consumer reports, the latch system is wonderful, its the alligator clasps, and the only tricky part was flipping and locking the bottom boot for the rearfacing position, but as long as you know where to look and read your manuel its easy, again love the carseat and love albeebabys price truly an incredible deal, ohh and they ship so quick, i had it in 48hrs!!!!!! and my 2 1/2 year fits fine too, (bought for my 10 month old) and the height limit is tall i believe it was 46 inches, this will definately get to 4 yrs old

it was little bit tricky to install - one of the most difficult installation among all baby stuffs we have installed, but overall my baby loves to sit on it. I have small car and it doesn't take much space than average. I would love this snugly feeling if I were a baby.

Love this car seat. My son relaxes back and enjoys the ride. We bought two if these in the "corniche" color which is actually gray/black not green like in the picture. Shipping was fast & product arrived without any damage.

My baby is so comfy with this car seat. Thumbs up for its reclining features. I only gave 4 stars because it can easily pill because of the material or fabric. I have this carseat for our other car and seldom used by my daughter. So I'm wondering why it pilled so easily. :( But other than that this is a great car seat with great features for the price tag.

I have a small car and this car fits great in the back seat. We still have to move the passenger seat up a bit but I can sit there and I am 5'9"! It is so easy to install and take out of the vehicle. My daughter almost always falls asleep in this thing so I take that as it's comfortable. She is 25lbs and 33in and still fits great RF. I just can't say enough good things about this car seat!

I have a 7 month old son who reached his weight limit for his infant carseat. We needed a second carseat for my husband's car and we were having difficulty finding one that was small enough, but yet safe and comfortable. This carseat was easy to install using the rearfacing option. My son's head seems less awkward and doesn't fall on his chin while he's sleeping as much, the recline feature is very nice! Have no complaints and for the price is an awesome carseat!

We bought this one for my Husbands car as the 2. carseat. We bought the same seat in black for my car! We used Maxi Cosi for the infant carrier as well and just loved it!!It is easy to install, easy to wash the covers and the seat is so so nice!I was afraid that the color would look space like or cheap...but.....I actually was very very surprised.It is so nice and the material is light and it is mesh...It looks different from what the picture shows...Really cool seat....the price is so good that we were able to buy two for the price of one...(if we would have bought a different company)Our son loves it and we do to!!!

Bought this seat to replace our Maxi Cosi infant seat. I gained about 5 inches of legroom in the passenger seat with this installed behind it. My baby falls asleep every time she gets into the seat because she's so comfortable. I love the quilted design and the extra padding. The fabric is high quality.

We have a total of three convertible car seats and this one is my favorite by far! Love everything about it, especially the recline! Great for our long road trips across country! :)

I like the seat. Smaller than most seats, so gave our front seat passengers a few extra inches of room once we switched out the infant seat for this one. I would say the value for the price is excellent. The only negative I have found is the straps seem to be a bit prone to twisting, more than her infant seat was. Other than that minor (and liveable) issue, I am pleased with this purchase.

Very hard safety material!! If my baby is comfy and happy I'am happy too, love the style and material very easy to remove to be wash also comes with a removable cup holder and also easy to wash, love the little silver edges all around the material my older son even named his little bothers car seat after the Movie "TRON" convertible car seat (bacause of the motocycles that glow in the movie). Love that reclines when my baby is takin a nap or falls a sleep while treveling. I would defenetly recommended to some one :)

Our son is five months old and already weighs 23 lbs. Needless to say, even though he technically hadn't outgrown his infant carrier, he was miserable in it and it was way too heavy for me to carry around anyways. He wouldn't stay in it to use in the stroller so it was useless. I had to drive from Phoenix to Tucson (around two hours) and couldn't stand to hear him cry the whole way so I went to the store and bought an Evenflo convertible that could recline. It was better than the infant seat in that he did fall asleep during the drive but once he woke up, he cried. So I continued to search for something that would make him happy. I was looking for a seat that reclined as much as possible. I stumbled upon the Maxi-Cosi Priori when I Googled which car seats were best for big babies. The Evenflo I purchased was around $250 at Babies R Us and was a good seat but the Priori is literally Heavenly and I found it at Albeebaby.com for $90!I drove around running errands today and he couldn't help but fall asleep!! At the end of the day when he was hungry and tired he was a tiny bit fussy for a couple minutes on the drive home and then PRESTO--asleep again! My husband and I went out to dinner tonight and the whole drive we just kept smiling at each other and thanking God for this miraculous seat because he was either happy or sleeping the whole time. Thank you Maxi-Cosi!!When I first took it out of the box I was disappointed because it didn't look like it reclined very much but there is a plastic piece on the bottom that flips to the other side in rear facing position to make it recline even more! It was about the same difficulty as the Evenflo to install using the latch system. It is a little more difficult to make it a tight fit because it doesn't have the automatic tightening in the latches like the Evenflo did. You have to tighten it manually which is kind of hard but it helps to adjust it to as close as you can before latching it so that it just needs to be a little tighter. Someone mentioned that the buckle is too tight around the legs, which I could see, but my guy has some honking thighs and he fits just fine. I find it easier to loosen the straps when I take him out and then tighten it again once he's in so that you have plenty of room to adjust without risking pinches. It is easy to release the straps and then tighten them again, even in the rear-facing position. The buckle has a cloth cover to protect the skin from hot materials which is nice down here in PHX and I also noticed that the material, although black, never felt too warm (although it is March so we'll see how it does in July). One big bummer is that you have to rethread the straps to adjust the height but you don't have to do that more than a couple times throughout its life so it's worth it for such an awesome seat!Just a side note: We ordered it in Corniche thinking it was grey but it is actually black with black mesh on the sides. This is actually the color we wanted but didn't think it was worth spending more for the "Phantom" color. Bonus!

I got this ca r seat to use when I have my grandson and it is great! Compact size but still roomy and comfortable for him! He is a big boy-11 months and 26 lbs!!! Very easy to use. Fits in smaller vehicles well but doesn't compromise on comfort . Top quality-looked at same carseat on other websites and costs twice as much!

We were looking for a safe, slightly compact, high quality car seat at a reasonable price (we have twins and therefore require 4), this one fit all the criteria. It is looks very nice (black and gray) and is able to recline while the kids are in it. I also like that it is a little smaller so we are able to gain an additional inch or two so my husband can more comfortably drive our Volvo S40.

Perfect carseat for our 3 young kiddos! 6mo, 20mo & 30mo!

This was purchased after we realized that we needed a 3rd car seat (one for baby sitter and one shared between mom & dad wasn't cutting it) We already had a Maxi Cosi Priori in red which we loved (and paid twice as much for) so this was a very easy decision. This seat is remarkably easy to install and remove from CARS with LATCH anchors. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is it is pretty difficult to move the straps up as our baby gets bigger. With that said, once the move is made, the seat just feels very safe and our baby seems very comfortable in these seats.

I only have used it several times and have just installed it in the rear facing position. At first, it looked like it doesn't recline enough in rear facing, but that was due to the fact that you need to move/swing the bottom portion of the base from back of the seat to the front section. This is correct way to install it in rear facing and it is perfect now. I could find any instructions on how to properly install it in rear facing mode, however, I figured it out myself with out calling MaxiCosi. I love the size, safety and reclining option and overall it was a great purchase. (i can easily fit 3 carseats in one row in both of my cars) Well worth the $90 sale price. (it looks like it would be good for my son until he is 3-4rs old, but that is because he is more like average for his height) I bought it for my 6mo old baby, but I also have a 3 yr old son and he still fits there pretty comfortably. However, you can't beat the price and quality of this seat and Albee baby had best price available. Thank you!!!

This is an okay car seat. We use it for the second car that we don't take out kids in much. It's not the most comfortable thing since the buckle between the legs is very high up and doesn't give much room for the private parts. I wouldn't recommend it for the main car seat, but it's fine for a second.

We love this seat ! Much more compact than our britax marathon. Slick design, like the cup holder & my 8 month old seems to like it too. A great buy, at a great price!

we have twins, so we were thrilled to find such good, safe car seats for such an affordable price! they seem very comfortable for the boys, nice padding, and it's really easy to adjust the straps. every part of the seat seem like it's very high quality, and we will definitely buy this same car seat for our next baby if we have another. the "recline" position doesn't seem really all that reclining, but that's not a big issue for us (we rarely drive when the babies are sleeping) and the sides are big enough that the boys' head don't tilt very far even when they do nod off. we're very happy with the seats.

I love this carseat! We're using it for our 14 month old in the rear facing position and it works great. I'm excited to be able to use the recline feature more once she's facing forward. My only complaint is that it is kind of difficult to run a seat belt through because of tight space but I've only had to move the carseat once so it's not a big deal.

Can't beat the price and quality of this no frills convertible child seat.

I bought this because I was looking for a safe car seat and well-priced car seat. This seat is very similar to the Britax Roundabout, but it accommodates a 40-lb, max, whereas the Britax will go to 55. My son is a small guy and I know that he will be able to use it for some time. And, for the price, I don't mind that I'll have to purchase a booster seat when my son grows out of this seat.For those concerned about the color, it is a very dark gray and the trim is also gray. It goes well in the dark interior of my mom's car (which is where we use this one.)

We got it for a really good price. Its light and easy to remove and attach. We like the 2 stage recline. my son can sit up straight or recline about 30 degrees which is perfect position when he's asleep.
