Great double stroller!
I participated in a market research study and received a product to evaluate. The Maxi-Cosi Dana for2 is a great double stroller! I have a newborn and a 17-month old and need a stroller that can accomodate an infant and toddler at the same time. The Dana For2 has met our needs well.PROS: I love that the Maxi-Cosi carseat clicks easily into the adapters but still leaves plenty of room for my older kiddo. The materials for the seats and canopy feel soft and comfy, and it is really easy to take the seat cushion off to clean - machine washable is AWESOME for toddlers. And I love the peek-a-boo window in the canopy. It is easy to push and maneuver, and rolls well over uneven surfaces like grass. It is bulky when folded, but it fits easily into the back of my Prius. It also folds into a standing position and stands on its own when folded, great for storage. Assembly out of the box was easy and instructions were straightforward.CONS: One of the biggest drawbacks about this stroller is the under-seat baskets are only accessable from the front of the stroller. The back is covered by the folding mechanisms making it impossible to reach through to access purse, diaper bag, toys or whatever else you want easy access to. The stroller is probably heavy enough to hang a diaper bag from the handles without tipping, but I haven't taken the chance. I have a hard time folding it too. The foot mechanisms to fold it up aren't very sandal-friendly and instead of folding easily it takes a shimmy to get it to collapse. I'm hoping it will loosen up over time. Even though it is narrow for a side-by-side double stroller, it has still been an adjustment going from a single stroller to this - especially with the extra 4 inches or so on the side for the cupholder.Overall I have enjoyed using this stroller and I know it will get lots more use in the years to come!
