Sturdy, light weight, full-recline, waterproof/SPF50+ extendable hood, attractive compact stroller

I've been taking my now 7 month old granddaughter for rides in the 2019 Maclaren Quest 4-5 days a week for nearly five months and both she and I really like it. Its light weight, has a carry strap and carry handle, and folds up easily--which would be a great thing for traveling if there was not a pandemic preventing us from visiting much of the world. Its attractive, stays very clean, but would be easy to clean if necessary. The wheels are sturdy and have held up great. The stroller has a storage area below the seat that, now that the baby is no longer in the fully reclined position, is easy to reach in to store items. There is also a storage pocket on the back of the seat that can easily carry sunglasses, wallet, etc. The stroller also comes with a rain cover. The stroller has a five point harness which a clickable release button that would be very difficult for a child to undo. The seat moves to 4 positions, which accommodates a very young infant in full recline up to a sitting up young child.. My 7 month old granddaughter really loves the Regency Stripe design and has focused on the stripes and the crowns since her earliest days. The brake is a step-on and holds the stroller in place if the incline is not very steep. The stroller handle also has a safety strap that is worn around the right wrist near the right handle. The large waterproof/UVF sun shade/extendable hood has a clear peek through window that can be covered with a magnetic cover and it can extend down so that baby is well protected.
Pros
- Its a very safe, easy to handle, light weight attractive stroller that has almost all of the features of a full size stroller including excellent safety features. This stroller is very comfortable for the baby, converts from a fully reclined bed for an infant to a full sitting position for an older child. The storage pocket on the rear of the seat is very handy. The under the seat storage is handy, but not as roomy as many full-size high-end strollers provide. Although this is an umbrella stroller, it has almost all of the features of a full stroller. I purchased the Regency Stripe model on sale for around $169 and given what a great stroller that it is, that was an excellent price. Albee Baby is a very helpful company to order from and this stroller is one of many products that I've ordered from it.
Cons
- Because its an umbrella stroller, the carriage only faces one direction (i.e., facing away from the person pushing it); and the 2019 model is a 2 handle model--it does not have the new ergonomic handle that would make it much easier to push with one hand. Sometimes my right foot hits the brake which is located on the right rear stroller tires.
