The Loog Mini is about the same size as a ukulele, but plays and sounds like a guitar because it uses classical guitar strings and standard guitar tuning. This is why everything you learn on a Loog can be applied on a 6-string guitar as well.

The Loog App

The new Loog app makes it fun for kids to tune and play their Loog. There's a songbook with tunes by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars, and even a monkey drummer to help them stay on the beat.

Looks just like a mini version of a guitar!
There are some minor quality control issues, like glue seeping through on the fingerboard and a string that looked a little stretched but it�s fine for a childrens toy. I like that it comes with flash cards to learn how to play chords on the 3 strings!

I�ve been eyeing my eye on a loog guitar for my 3yo and was excited to see Albee carry the guitar with 20% off. The guitar is extremely well made and looks great! The ingenious design makes it easy for your little ones to hold and play. Comes with a set of cute cards to teach chords and a pair of picks. The guitar did smell like chemicals(?) upon unboxing (not an issue with Albee) but went away in about an hr. My son likes his new guitar and loves strumming away; I can see him loving it more as he gets older. Even my husband is enjoying the loog!
