My son enjoyed riding it since 2.5yrs old (now still loves it at age 5). Solid build quality.

I bought one of these for my older son in purple, who then handed down his green mini scooter for little brother to use. Well, the mini scooter is nice for a toddler but little brother was over the moon to get his own maxi scooter when he turned 5! It runs extremely smooth, goes "turbo fast" according to my son, and the bright, fuchsia pink color is not only easy to spot a mile away, it is a favorite of both genders. It's been dropped and tossed around by my 5 year old and still looks good as new. I like the easy height adjuster, which is a no-brainer and is easily adjusted to your preferred height. When their little sister is old enough for one, I am confident that she'll be able to enjoy use either one. Even I've been able to ride it! It's fun!

I did a lot research on scooters when my daughter turned 3. The Micro company has the most positive reviews, and I loved that it was a "lean to turn" scooter. I felt that my daughter would have any easier adaptation to this. Within a week, she had mastered it and has enjoyed using her scooter pretty much everyday since. Once she turned 5 we knew she needed the next step up. The is a significant price jump from the mini-micro, so we bought an inexpensive standard 2-wheel scooter, and she had VERY difficult time adjusting to it. Her love of the scooter was quickly fading. We decided to take the plunge and purchase the Maxi-Micro. Albee-Baby had all the color options, provided free shipping, and there was a promotional code on the website the day we decided to purchase it. It was a win-win. Now all we had to do was wait for it to come in the mail the next week....that is until it came about 3 days later!! This was my first Albee Baby online purchase and I was am so satisfied with their service. My daughter love this scooter!! Take the plunge, it's worth it.

Love this scooter! Bought it for my 6yo after she outgrew the mini. Color is awesome, quality is great.

I purchased this for my grandson's 6th birthday. After living in England where these scooters are quite popular, my daughter suggested this would be a good choice. It is a well built scooter that is very stable and easy to use. I had already purchased the smaller one for my 2 year old grandson and now the brothers are zipping all over together.

We have had a Mini Micro since my daughter was probably 2. She's now 6 and we decided it was time to upgrade her even though she could still ride the Mini even with it being short on her. We are so pleased and so is she! It's just as great as the Mini but this one is heavier/sturdier and should work great for years to come.
