Wanted a carseast that was light enough to travel with, slim enough to fit comfortably into a compact car and unobtrusive in terms of looks. My son loves this seat and actually prefers it without the extra padding. Not as many bells and whistles as "fancier" seats, but for the price, has worked out great. Great convertible harness booster seat

After exhaustively reviewing the available highback convertible harness booster options, we settled on this model for features and price/value. We looked at some of the beefier Grace versions but preferred the slimmer and lighter profile of this one so that travel and generally dealing with the car seat contraption would be easier on us.
We have not looked back and in fact just bought a second one for our other car. Our 4.5yr old loves it too! We use it primarily in the harness booster mode so far but have been able to successfully use the booster seat only for a vacation where we needed something for taxi’s and a train ride. It worked great for both of those modes of transportation.

Makes a little bit of a squeaky noise as other reviewers said, probably resulting from the fact that the Latch mounts only adjust on one side (our Britax had the ability to adjust on both Latches). But my son is comfy, even when falling asleep, and he loves the cup holders. The release button is hard to push but I hope it loosens a bit the more we use it.

Love this seat! I had already bought a different 3 in 1 booster seat because it was cheap at Walmart formy son but he was so uncomfortable. I needed to buy my daughter a booster because she is transitioning out of an infant seat and i found this one and ordered 2, one for him and one for her because its such a great seat. Now my son has this seat and absolutly loves it. It is lighter than the old seat and so easy to figure out and install. I highly recommended this booster seat!

The way this fits in my car is pretty iffy. I am going to take my car to a fire station to get a 2nd opinion. It just doesn't tighten down the way I am used to. I removed the headrest on the seat and it helps but the path through the car seat for the seatbelt or tether strap (same path), in my opinion, is too high. You can't tighten it at that angle. I tried by myself and then my daughter and I struggled together with it. It seems better with my grandson in it, but like I said, I want another opinion on this one. If I can revise this review after I take it to be looked at, I will. At this point, I recommend, due to the price. I have mostly bought Britax but for occasional use, I thought I would try this one. A Britax was more than 2 times the price to get what I wanted.

Seems safe, well made and sturdy. Grandson seems comfortable in it and likes it.

For my 3 yr old grandson, will be used maybe once or twice a month.
Cons
Hard to get in car, once installed correctly (hopefully), I will be hesitant to take it out.
