Safe and sturdy seat. I like the padding around the head area. I've heard lots of people mention it being tight as their child grows, but it looks like he's still got a bunch of space. The infant support is great as well, holds him in place. He's got plenty of room to grow. The base/seat was easy to install. You can use a belt or latches. Fabric is nice and quality. I was worried about the pattern,I like plain, but it is very subtle and fancy looking. Great quality.

I received this as a test product from Stellar Review Product Testing panel. I just had a baby 2 weeks ago and my carseat was going to expire in May. I have always been a Graco fan and am open to new products. Luckily, this was an upgrade since my older Graco carseat base was much more bulky. This base was very simple to install, instructions and pictures were straight forward and not confusing to read. My older carseat itself was way heavier than this newer version and this newer version made it so easy for me to transport baby and seat wherever I go. I am pleased with how easy the installation process was and the newborn support that comes with the carseat.

I have issue while removing the car seat from the base. It gets stuck once every 3-4 times which is annoying. The seat sits in the stroller at an angle where the baby's feet are pointing up.

I loved this car seat when I first got it. It fit my baby just perfect she was 6.4lb at birth. Now she's a growing babe. Even with the adjustable head rest in the back it's too snug for her. She has a large growing head. At 3.5 months she's probably 12-15 lbs. well fed! It is hard to go grocery shoving with it although you aren't supposed to put them on top of the cart for safety reasons many moms do any it save space- you can't do it with this car seat. So I ha e to put her in the cart. Limiting my items. It's a hassle. Warning stickers all over inside of car seat. But the biggest deal is that the headrest DOES NOT remove. I bought another before I tried removing it- lost money there and with this car seat since I will have to be buying another infant car seat since she can't continue to grow in this one. This momma is extremely upset !

Haven't been able to use this yet as I'm not due until Aug, but I can already tell I'll love this seat just as much as I love the Graco seats that I had/have for my daughter. The seat is easy to use, tightening and loosening the straps is a breeze. The seat clicks in and out of the base with ease. This model (30XL) is slightly different than the 30 I had for my daughter. It is more plush, and the newborn insert seems like it will hold the baby in there nice and snug.

The pictures of the car seat are very miss leading.... The car seat has 4 SUPPER big yellow warning labals all over the car seat. Two covering pretty much the whole infant head rest. There about 6 inch long yellow labels that's dont come off!!!! And 2 right above the infant headrest on the car seat same size. Supper sad they don't show these in the photos when u order online. I started looking around and a lot of moms are very upset about the same thing..

We have two new granddaughters, one is in the 95th percentile of height and weight for her age, the other 3rd percentile. Since we get to have both of them, sometimes for whole days, we needed a seat that we could easily change from one to the other. This car seat is it. The shoulder strap adjustment feature is just what we needed. It goes in and out of its base in the car with ease, and likewise the Relay jogging stroller we bought for them. It is also nicely finished with lots of protective padding and very nice looking (we could have done quite well without all the huge labels on either side of the head rest).

As a first-time mom with no previous experience with infants, I was terrified at the prospect of learning how to install and use a car seat. This one made everything so easy. It only took me fifteen minutes of reading the manual and fiddling around with it to get to a point where I could say that I'm confident with using this. Cleaning is easy enough to figure out without even having to open the manual. Loosening the harness involves just pushing one button and adjusting the height is obvious by just looking at the back of the seat. There's a built-in level on the base that lets you know if it's too far forward or back and a red line on the seat for when you're not using the base. Securing the seat to a car is also really easy whether you're using a LATCH system, a regular seat belt, or if you have to do without a base (for city-living with constant taxi usage, this is fantastic!). My only complaint is that the button that releases the seat from the base can be a little hard to push. It usually takes me two or three tries to disconnect the two, but it's not enough to bother me much. It might be a little disruptive if you have a baby in the seat, though.
