I love this seat. First of all the base is super easy to install and the seat just clicks into the base so its so quick to put the baby in. It's not too heavy and my baby seems to enjoy riding in it. I have issue while removing the car seat from the base. It gets stuck once every 3-4 times which is annoying. The seat sits in the stroller at an angle where the baby's feet are pointing up.

We used this seat for the first 6 months of our sons life. It's a good seat. I wish we had gone with an upgraded model though. Tiny newborns need more head/body support than this seat offers. I's a good budget sat though and doesn't weight a ton. We had difficulty installing the bases with LATCH and ended up going with a seatbelt install.

Love the carseat! Really nice pattern for my little boy. Easy to click it in and out of the base. Lightweight, not too heavy when i carry my baby up and down the steps or in and out of the van. Just 2 things that could use improvement, the visor part seems shorter than the previous graco carseat i had and i feel like it doesn't do such a good job blocking the sun from my baby's face. Also the handle is a smooth design but it would be more comfortable to carry if there was some cushioning. But i definitely recommend it for this amazing price! No need to spend an extra $50 or more for similar product...

Haven't been able to use this yet as I'm not due until Aug, but I can already tell I'll love this seat just as much as I love the Graco seats that I had/have for my daughter. The seat is easy to use, tightening and loosening the straps is a breeze. The seat clicks in and out of the base with ease. This model (30XL) is slightly different than the 30 I had for my daughter. It is more plush, and the newborn insert seems like it will hold the baby in there nice and snug.

As a first-time mom with no previous experience with infants, I was terrified at the prospect of learning how to install and use a car seat. This one made everything so easy. It only took me fifteen minutes of reading the manual and fiddling around with it to get to a point where I could say that I'm confident with using this. Cleaning is easy enough to figure out without even having to open the manual. Loosening the harness involves just pushing one button and adjusting the height is obvious by just looking at the back of the seat. There's a built-in level on the base that lets you know if it's too far forward or back and a red line on the seat for when you're not using the base. Securing the seat to a car is also really easy whether you're using a LATCH system, a regular seat belt, or if you have to do without a base (for city-living with constant taxi usage, this is fantastic!). My only complaint is that the button that releases the seat from the base can be a little hard to push. It usually takes me two or three tries to disconnect the two, but it's not enough to bother me much. It might be a little disruptive if you have a baby in the seat, though.

Love this carseat! Graco has always been good to us be it my own little family or past cousins and nephews. They've always been so lightweight and have always had great safety ratings. I'm using this for my newborn son and it's amazing to have been able to pick it up myself with baby inside shortly after giving birth when my two year old wanted to be carried by her daddy. I'm not a huge fan of the base though. Would the click connect 40 base fit this car seat?

There are both pros and cons about it, but overall, I love this car seat, because what it boils down to is the safety of the child, and I feel like this car seat does the job. Pros: Our baby boy seems very comfortable in it (he falls asleep every time!) and it seems very well made, safe and secure. Once the base is in, it's really easy to get the seat into and out of the car, and of course the click feature is very reassuring to know that it is installed properly. I also love the star pattern I chose and the seat itself just looks nice. Cons: The button to loosen the straps is difficult to locate. It is beneath the seat and the strap goes over it and there are a few openings in the same area, so finding it, especially if there is a crying baby waiting for you, is not enjoyable. The other con (though I suppose this could be said about every Graco car seat) is that getting the base out of the vehicle is very difficult. I think this could be due to the fact that my husband installs it and when I try to uninstall it, it is simply too tight for me to push the button hard enough and pull the belt loose at the same time. I have to make him get it for me each time, but at least I know it is good and tight! Even with the cons, I don't think I would choose a different seat over this one. I love it and it is baby approved!
