I put this car seat on my registry, pre-baby, just to plan ahead. Now that I wanted to use it for my 1-year old (23 lbs and 30" height) I can't in CT due to rear facing laws. After talking with friends, they were like "how does a company even make a car seat that doesn't have a rear facing options with the same CT law in most states". Because I got this over a year ago, I'm having trouble with an exchange or return through the registry site it was purchased from. Super bummed. I hope that when I can use it when she's 2, it gets us good use and is easy to install!

Overall nice car seat/booster. The harness is easy to get around the child and connect. Materials are soft. Two problems I am noticing. After just a month, the material on the side is already showing heavy wear and tear. Not sure what is causing this, but threads are coming loss. Possibly sliding my girl in and out. The second issue is the small piece of fabric that covers the belt clip (between the thighs) keeps coming off. I think this would have been better if it were stitched in instead of being lose. I guess for easy cleaning but ends up just being in the way and I tossed it in the back.

Great product ! But it was not easy to install in my small car (Chevy Bolt) .Snug fit wasn't working due to shortage of length Because hook at rear is at the bottom. May be need extra length of hooks harness. Overall nice

SnugLock is a game changer!

It's a bit more expensive, but the SnugLock feature is a massive game changer. It's significantly easier to get the car seat strapped in with LATCH or the vehicle seat belt, and once it's locked, the car seat doesn't move! The access through the front of the car seat is a great relief for fingers and hands that have scars from strapping in other car seats.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well-labeled everything is on this car seat, and how incredibly easy it was to install with the seat belt. LOVE the installation system. My kiddo was super excited to have such a new, sleek-looking seat, and also really loves the cup holders. The one aspect I don't love is the chest buckle on the harness. It's hard to undo compared with our older car seat, and I imagine that this could pose problems with something with finger mobility or arthritis issues.

Great upgrade for older/taller kids. My almost 4 yr old is super tall. She is outgrowing the harness for the Contender 65 and I want to keep her in a harness longer- this seat will allow harness for quite a while more. Super happy with it, will buy a second one for the other car!

Just upgraded my 3.5 year old to this big boy seat. I love the SnugLock installation; my son is near the latch weight limit. My only concern is the seat doesn't seem to be as padded as his old convertible seat. May not be comfortable on longer car rides.

This is the fourth Graco car seat I have installed/used in the past 3 years and it is by far my favorite. The other car seats we have are the Graco extend to fit forever, Graco forever and a nautilus (not LX). This car seat was very easy to install, I was able to install it by myself at 8 months pregnant. The cushion on the seat is also better and the release button for the harness is larger and easier to use than the other car seats. Definitely recommend this car seat!

We purchased this unit a year ago after reading the rave reviews. Frankly it's a terrible design. The "snug lock" doesn't ever feel like it's tight and no matter how hard the straps are pulled it still wiggles. The straps are constantly twisted; somehow they always magically get twisted incorrectly but they never seem to untwist as easily as they get bound up. It's also a pain to clean. Overall I'm not impressed

Took this seat on a long road trip and it worked great for our little one. It's going to be tricky to keep clean in the 5 point harness configuration because there are cracks and crevices to catch crumbs but it's worth it to have a safe comfortable ride. She's not heavy enough for the booster position but I like that I won't have to get something different.

We bought this seat about a month ago for our 3 year old after we got into a wreck with our other seat. This particular seat just does NOT compare to the other brands we've owned. The straps are constantly getting twisted up. And it takes forever to turn the little pieces around. It's almost like my daughter fits awkwardly in it as well.

I bought this for my daughter after she outgrew her sunglock XL. I spent several weeks doing research and very please with my purchase. Very easy to install and she loves it so far. Was really concerned when she continued to get carsick in my mom's forward facing seat but has had no problems in this one. She loves the cup holders, the fact that I can release it to make more arm room, and the cushion on the neck straps. She no longer has marks on her neck when I undo the straps. It is heavy but love that it has that steal frame. Was very easy to install in my Ford Escape with the latch system. Only con is that it is big but I only have two children right now so not a problem. Would not recommend if you are trying to fit 3 of these in the backseat.
