Flynn is a really red fire engine and a member of the Sodor Search and Rescue team. He is very popular with the engines and is always raring to rescue No. 3 green engine. He is a long and fast engine. He tends to be a little high-strung and a bit of a worrier. Flynn Wooden Railway Engine works great with any Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway sets and provides endless hours of play. Contains easy-to-use magnet connectors that connect to other engines. This is such a great gift idea. Must have for a Thomas the Train fan. I got it on sale and it was worth every penny. Definitely wish for more selection on train faces. Yeah it's a short board book, but my kids were mindblown by the whole concept that their name was on a train AND in a book.

I bought this for my kiddo's 2nd birthday and now am getting one for his 3rd. He has a slightly unusual name so this lets him have a train of his own. Once we're past the train phase, this will be a wonderful keepsake of his train obsession. It's the same quality as the other wooden engines and shipped very quickly for a custom item. The book is also a tunnel, which he loves.

Too expensive for what you get

The "personalized" book is literally three pages long - THREE - and made of thick cardboard like a baby book. I also thought the child's name would be used throughout the book but it's only stamped on the front. The train is cute, but overall whole thing is way too much money for what you get, end of the day it's just another train with decorations on the side.

Bought one for my son and myself. Truely amazing to have a Thomas toy with your name on it which you design yourself! My son has already made his engine feel at home with Thomas' other friends. As a lifetime Thomas fan myself, this is a great concept and my engine is so great!!!!!
